I do expect that the political center of gravity in the 2020 Dem nomination process is going to be well to the left of where it was in 2016.

If Bernie had been an option I might have voted for him. I just wanted to shake things up. As Donna Brazile is now apologizing the DNC didn't want Bernie and did everything they could to to stifle his candidacy.

Many lefties sought Bernie for Prez.
Bernie wanted to make the 1% pay for all sorts of reforms.
Solving problems that 'socialistic' way, (understated in Bernie's case) delivers bigger problems due to inefficiencies and inflations, etc (since population did not earn those reforms, sugar daddies paid for them).
Society eventually degenerates; being made up of many at that point.

Actually, it is the social democracies nowadays who still tend to practice some form of corporatism, and it gets them a great deal worth having.
