The stupid have a pathological need to show off...
The usual responses in the form of, if you point out their poor behavior and bad manners then you are a whiner and that is supposed to stop you from pointing it out.
Slut walks? Please..., tiny limited and unnoticed. It wasn't even a topic of much discussion here on Lit where every political molehill becomes a mountain.

Chief, you forfeited the right to polite discourse a long time ago.
You deserve any and all "nuclear replies" you receive.
You embody the typical Not-Republican mindset: you can dish it out, but you sure can't take it...and when you get called out, you start a pity party thread like this one.
Poor AJ, targeted by the EPA, the IRS, the FEC, the SEC, the FCC, the FDA. It can't be easy being him.
The responses to 4est's posts totally prove his point. The people who preach tolerance and diversity consistently despise and ridicule anyone with views different from their own.
If you have kids is this what you teach them?
Phelia has more brains and insight than you and all of your little bootlickers combined. She is one of the most intelligent posters on this board.
That about wraps it up. I'm sure there are more but my point is proven.
And...you win the Internet. You must be so proud at this moment. What's next, a cure for cancer?
I'm betting it's counting to 4.
Looks like he got tripped up.
A Five years old quote?

Point proven #1.
Point proven #2.
And #3.

On a personal note I'm glad that A_J was able to do his two favorite things:
- post a thread where he's a victim
- invoke the Holy Quote from Byron as if that somehow matters to anyone but him.
Good times.
He should put it in his sigline.![]()
The desperation he shows in doing it actually makes me sad.
Personally, I wasn't the biggest fan of Byron but repeatedly using that quote as some sort of validation for his argument just isn't right.
Btw, where does that fall on Hashies ever-fluctuating statute of limitations? I thought it was anything that happened before she got here but now it seems like it might be anything less than 5 years?
Good point.
I guess what I had in mind was more the "autodidact" and self-taught part.
One can give countless examples of people who followed some post-grad education of some sort and are excellent as 'craftsmen' in practicing what they were taught, but who had no intellectual curiosity to grow beyond that.
And vice versa.
Unfortunately, I'm still prwjudiced.
Because I believe that, unlike millenials, the majority of boomers and Xers were given the financial advantages to pursue a postgrad ed. So I think that 80% of those who had intellectual aspirations early on, would have been able to pursue a College degree.
-- In saying that, I particularly admire those who didn't have the chance to pursue a formal degree due to negative life events, finances and so on, but who had the drive to learn on their own. The autodidacts.
-- And I still look down on those who didn't do it on their own, even if life dealt them a bad card earlier on,
This thread is a hoot.
First off, how did it get from HIS point to being YOUR point?
It's not a very good point to even want to steal credit for it.
