At 55 years of age, Martha Brawley voted for the first time in her life. She voted for Trump saying, "I'm 55. This is the first time in my life I voted, and I voted for Trump hoping that he would change the insurance so I could get good health care," she told ABC News. "I might as well have not voted."

Now that Republicans have shown their hand, Martha, and many, many others, are coming to the realization they've been conned. Bigly time.

Just like Trump vowed to put Hillary in jail throughout the election but immediately had amnesia once elected, just like Trump said he would make Mexico pay for a wall then handed Congress the bill, just like Trump said he would be too busy working to go golfing then spends five consecutive weekends going golfing, those who voted for Trump are having a large bout of buyer's remorse.

Witness the woman who tweeted after the election begging Trump not to cut her Social Security benefits even though she knew Trump said he planned to do so. It's her only form of income along with disability. Why did she vote for Trump and not Hillary?

President Obama is a “black Muslim,” or maybe a “Muslim Christian.” She hates “fancy-pants elitists” and “crooked Hillary” with her “rich friends,” and they should all be “in jail.” Oh, and Trump is going to “Make America Great Again.”

Welcome to the age of the con artist. Suck it up buttercups. You have four years of his corruption to go.

Yep, the biggest reward (well, other than my insurance essentially being tied to what congressmen get) of this election is to see the expression on dummy Trump voters' faces when they wake up to having been conned in ways they should have seen coming if they weren't so dumb and made brain dead by their electronic toys.

Considering ~half of the voters did not vote. I'll bet meany wished they had, now that the Trumpanzy is doing his deconstruction. How many believed that Hillary was a cinch and just fucked off rather than doing their duty?

Or were glassy eyed thinking that Bernie could come anywhere close to delivery on his promises and couldn't give up their hurt he didn't get the nomination.

Lots of people believed that Bernie could beat Trump by 30-40% but the DNC wanted Princess Hillary to continue the Neo-Lib fucking of the nation so they took a chance on a 8-10% lead.

This election has made me quite aware of the power of mass delusion.

Lots of people thought Hillary had it in the bag too--they were counting too much on common sense. "Lots of people believed" is just supposition. And some people who pouted because their candidate promising pie in the sky had no track record of actually delivering anything got rejected by a party he didn't belong to and then his diehards didn't pay enough attention to who was running on the Republican ticket to actually vote. That's what most of Bernie's "people" were--neophytes who couldn't seriously think about the dangers of reality. I don't feel sorry that they'll lose something too--maybe next time they'll open their eyes more and be more realistic. Again, I can let both Trump supporters and Bernie diehards twist in the wind over health care because I have the same coverage congressmen have--and I earned it by living in danger.

They've been had like a whore in a war zone. More and more of them are going to figure that out eventually.
