He's pretty grounded, as far as actors go. Rooted in the south.
Doesn't seem to take himself too seriously.

That would be a far more flattering and "mature" way to refer to Mr. McC imho. There's also "The Bee's Knees" and the dignified simplicity of "The Man."

In general I like him. True Detective(season one) he was fantastic. Seems likable.

But he is creepy as hell in the Lincoln commercials, looks like a damn molester for some reason.
