"Threads: The Island" has been dethroned

I've been visiting LitE for a long time and in all that time, the top story in the Incest/Taboo Hall of Fame has been "Threads: The Island". It had such a big lead on the other stories and had so many votes that I assumed that it would never be knocked out of the top spot.

Today, I checked the I/T HoF and "Threads: The Island" is #9. It isn't even the top complete story anymore. My guess is that it dropped solely due to its rating dropping (as opposed to other stories having their ratings climb).

We've watched it trade places with Colleen over the years. It is likely concerted down voting slipping under the radar.

Also Lit uses a over-simplistic weighted average (truncated to 2 digits and sorted by votes) to calculate position / scores.

They should do something with statistical significance this

But even more to the point, 5-star rating schemes don't always work example.

To put it in perspective, it's only down by .01

"Threads" has a score of 4.85. The other 8 all have a tied score of 4.86.

Threads stated where it was for so long because it's very high vote total made it hard for the snipers to bring it down. I believe it was as high as 4.88 but with 20k votes it takes a lot of bombs to drop it.

I laugh at the fact people,are miffed it wasn't followed up on. It's 42 pages .

Colleen always seems to come back to number one. It was behind conflicted and overtook that then overtook another series now finally it's now past threads.

I find it funny I'm known here as an incest writer but have nothing near the top on the all time list.

The favorites lists are being games worse than any of the top lists and has been for the last four or five years.

So they delete my post. A few people will read it and when it is gone they will think, maybe there is something to this. They sure were in a hurry to get that post gone.
