A dead SEAL, politics, and Trump.

At least that fucking disgusting human garbage Dan Grilo was fired....

Funny. I have yet to see one post refute anything Ish said. Just a bunch of crying and lying.

You poor snowflakes are slacking.... have you given up all hope!?

This President dragged out the crying widow for the purpose of obligatory flag waving specifically to counter the call for an investigation. It was entirely a calculated and self serving act by this Administration and had nothing to do with honoring the memory or the uniform.

Period.

LOL....I guess war and getting your people killed for shitz n' giggles is only good when (D)'s do it.

Can't wait to watch BND freak shit when Trump drone strikes a US citizen.

That's one spin. The other was that it was just one of a few "in your face" moments for the democrats. Moments he executed with considerable aplomb, don't you think.

And the investigation is ongoing. There just won't be any congressional investigation. Why should the democrats be provided a stage for their political theater? There are consequences to losing elections.............ask Obama, it's his quote.

This President gave her peace in the aftermath.

I didn't respond to Ish's original post. I responded to KingOrfeo's question as to EternalFantasies' theory, which he stated in another thread - CIA interference.

Personally, I don't think any of us have any right to say where the father's anger and blame should be placed at this moment. Throughout history Presidents have been blamed for the deaths of people's children during combat and military operations. The media has latched on to this one; the father is expressing a normal grief reaction to the loss of his adult son - we should watch which party we are vilifying here.

IYO.

Fact is you can say the same thing about any president and there is probably some truth. But truly caring and political grandstanding are not mutal exclusive.

I believe he truly cares. But that is my opinion.

You thought Obama truly cared. That's your opinion.

Your opinion is based on nothing but partisan politics and sheep mentality.

Trump was on a plane with no press to welcome home the remains.

I recall many times Obama went golfing after learning people died....

Jesus fucking Christ. Just when I though this snowflake couldn't say anything stupider or more dishonest....

You're wearing "snowflake" out already, could you possibly generate another term? BTW, you fragile petunias whined for the last several years so you should keep that in mind as you point fingers at the other side.

Ishmael still did not answer my question tho. Why those military officers remained seated. And if any reference exists as to when this mission started to be in the works.

Because Bush showed up for every soldier he sent to their deaths by lying about the need to invade and occupy Iraq, right? He dropped everything he was doing and rushed to the airport to see every body come back.

Before you answer, remember it was Bush who forbid coverage of any flag-draped coffin which came into Dover.

Here was his excuse for not attending a single funeral for any soldier:

“Because which funeral do you go to? In my judgment, I think if I go to one I should go to all. How do you honor one person but not another?”

I can find NO reference to any generals remaining seated. <shrug>

CentCom submitted the plan to the White House on Nov. 7th. Obviously the gathering of intelligence and actual planning started well before that date.

The military, like the court remains politically neutral by tradition. They should and for the most part do only react to none political points.

The Obama administration itself admits they put off the mission for the light issue.

"Obama administration officials cited “operational reasons” for pushing back the date of the raid for sometime after Jan. 20, leaving it in the hands of the newly minted president to determine its course, CNN reported"

Look at the snowflakes scurry around to shift blame and defend Donnie boi...LMAO. Make daddy proud, son! :D

When everyone was clapping for the widow thanking her for her husband's service, the military officers remained seated.

I see. Well, in this case... Everyone was up... felt weird the military remains seated. Maybe some internal protocol of theirs... .

Ah great. Thank you.

Watch how the LordOfOreos will avoid this now and keep saying elsewhere: Trump ordered the raid, Trump killed that seal.

And it seems Obama passed on a couple of boobie traps over to the Donald. Keystone and this.

It can be argued that he shouldn't have signed the op order until he did know those details.

Yeah, that's pretty much the argument. It turns out people prefer the president know what's going on before signing things.

That said, I think it's a sin to parade grieving military families around for political gain like the left has done here and the right did with Benghazi. And I don't think anybody expected a rich-kid draft dodger to handle the military competently. It's sort of a given this was going to happen a few times.

Depends, if Parminder starts using racial slurs it's Rob.

If it tries to deny (D) has any flaws or is less than perfect in any way, it's KO.

And if the limit of its lame trolls are name calling with not a sign of original thought or cleverness it is Luk

Undoubtedly so. However the finger wagging was a bit much and moved past self confidence to self-aggrandisement. IMHO, anyway.

There certainly are consequences to elections, no argument here.

I thought it more than a little unusual to state so boldly "My administration wants to work with members in both parties [other stuff] .... and to promote clean air and clear water" while the ink is still drying on the executive order rolling back the Clean Water Rule. But whatever, elections have consequences.

I would hope he does not make any calls on the millatry contrary to the military's recommendation. I would expect the same of any president that hasn't served and obtained a high level leadership role.

He listened to the generals recommendation. Seems Obama did in this case as well.

Someone died. That sucks. Happens often on a lot of missions we do and do not hear about.

It is ultimately his responsibility and I wish he would say that. But I do not wish he would have declined the mission as that's what the generals recommended.
