Just had a story rejected again after editing, with a new title and re-posting the correct way. These were the commandants words:-

**To prevent stories from being posted on the site more than once, would you like us to 1) replace the text and title of the old story with this one, or 2) remove the older story completely and post this one? We can also post this in addition to the current story, but we do caution that some readers do not like it when an already posted story is posted again as "new"**

I had this rejection more than a week ago and replied on the basis of please deal with it in either of the 1) or 2) suggestions made, I didn't mind or care.

They didn't act so I have again, three days ago, asked them to act on suggestion 2).
They haven't acted yet.

Snowy, it seems that you are not looking after your stories.
Therefore you are causing some confusion.
Is the new one to be added to the earlier one, as in "part 2" ?

You have submitted a re-worked story as a new submission, with a new title. Don't.

If you are editing an existing story, submit it with EXACTLY the same title, and write in the Notes "EDIT".

Snowy, it's not hard. Just follow the instructions as spelt out in FAQ.

Also keep in mind is that changes like this are low priority. It can take quite a while before they go through. You should probably give it at least a week without any further changes before you contact Laurel about it again.
