No way, dude. Both deserve to live forever.

R.I.P., Chet.

maybe before Independence day: resurgence, but after? i don't fucking think so.

but enough jokes, it's a sad day for cheesy, but enjoyable movies. i may have to download aliens so that i can mourn properly.

Sad to hear about this, especially since he is starring in the new series, "Training Day".

I wonder what type of surgery he was in for though.

Sad news about the late Bill Paxton. Great actor, should've been handed more superstar roles. RIP Bill.

Spaceballs gives him a free forever pass.

He was in an awful lot of excellent movies too. We had Tombstone on in the house just yesterday.

Paxton trivia: he saw JFK on the morning he was killed.

I just recently learned this - maybe a month ago. Kinda crazy.

I think we can all agree that we liked Bill Paxton? Sometimes great, sometimes silly, always entertaining. Never heard anything shitty about him either. RIP sir.

Details.

Had heart surgery. Complications afterwards and then died from a stroke.

Just guessing but probably a blood clot formed and then broke loose. From what I have been told it is usually 1 of 3 things due to cardio-vascular disease. Heart attack, stroke or a particularly nasty lung issue. Not a combination.

I still love Twister and whenever I can, catch it on tv.
