A million similar statements, made by Trump, himself. With his very own Trump breath, his Trump mouth, his Trump lips.

Trump tweeted the words.

Trump had his "spokespeople" broadcast their interpretation of what Trump might say, if Trump came to the microphone, in his own Trump body.

"It doesn't represent the people, it never will represent the people and we're going to do something about it."

NPR makes a statement _"And then he doubled down on his tweet a week ago calling the media the "enemy of the people."

NPR backs themselves into a corner-

Trump tweeted

"failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!"

Fake news!

Please read the mind and heart of Trump, and do not except Trump to conform to any conventional expectations.

"The FAKE NEWS media (cut out the news media outlets that Trump listed, because that is what he wanted to happen, and everyone should have read his Trump mind...)

"...not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!"

The Washington Post focused an eye and an ear on what Trump said, at the CPAC gathering.

A quote, but not a very nice one, Precious.

"Because they have no sources, they just make 'em up when there are none. I saw one story recently where they said, "Nine people have confirmed." There're no nine people. I don't believe there was one or two people. Nine people."

Trump bludgeons the public's ears about how he feels about the media feeds, provided by outlets that function independently from Trump.

Are we expected to ignore everything that Trump has said during his entire existence, and only focus on what Trump has said in the last five minutes of Trump's existence?

What is Trump's message to the American people?
May I speculate on what Trump's message might be ?

Here-

"Listening, you are doing it wrong, Liberals."

"Just applaud when I tell you my Trump words. There is no need to think about what your hear."

"When I tell you that I shot someone to death on the sidewalk, outside of the main entrance to Trump Tower, applaud and cheer."

"All my Trump fans and Trump trolls would applaud."

The Fake News is the Enemy of the people, worldwide. I listened to him speak today and he said Fake News. If he simply said "The News is the enemy of the people" then he misspoke and that is not what I heard. Anyone with half a brain knows he is talking about the media constantly missing the headline and simply reporting extreme liberal bullshit....which even liberals are gettig tired of.

And of course he (Trump) threw plenty of jabs at his favorite punching bag — the media.

Trump claimed that the "dishonest media" would say he didn't receive a standing ovation because everyone was standing in the room and never sat down.

And then he doubled down on his tweet a week ago calling the media the "enemy of the people."

Trump claimed his comments had been misrepresented because he didn't call all media the enemy — just the "fake news," though he cited mainstream news sources that do not print fake news stories, such as CNN, NBC News, CBS News and others.

And he took aim at the use of anonymous or unnamed background sources in the media — even though, as is a common practice in many administrations, a "senior administration official" had just briefed reporters Friday morning on the condition of not being named.

The media created their own situation. Sloppy journalism....like the MLK bust removed from the Oval Office story....is to blame.

Kinda like putting a Kick Me label on your own back, then wondering why people keep kicking you in the ass.

I watched the same thing you did. And even as a Trump supporter I thought he should have stuck to talking about the plan and the future. I am not sure what his continued bashing of the media is going to accomplish. I personally like when he tweets and fb posts corrections. That is sufficiant. He spent half that speech on being in love with himself and reiterating the basic soundbites we all know.

So given that I voted for him, I have to try to sift past that. Did you hear him say that the US has spent $6 Trillion on the middle east? That is almost 1/3 of the National Debt. We could not continue to go in that direction. This is why so many people quietly voted for Trump. Because he is going to do some necessary things for this country. He has an opportunity to be the greatest president that ever lived if he could curb his arrogance by maybe 10-20% and focus on his objectives.

Trump tells lies. News prints what Trump says. Trump says news is lies.

So no one mentions that several news agencies were excluded/denied from a press "gaggle" today, all of whom had "mean words" against SCROTUS Trumpel Thinskin!

Tempest in a teapot. The press briefing was downgraded to a no-camera gaggle. Maybe Congress simply cut the chair budget.

Yesterday's Trump: "I'm not talking to the press any more."

Today's Trump: "Why isn't the press reporting what I have to say?"

‘We will not tolerate chaos and ineptitude’:Watch Jodie Foster shred Trump at LA rally

Speaking with a host of other celebrities at a Hollywood rally against the policies of the Trump administration, actress and director Jodie Foster slammed the Trump administration, telling the crowd, “We will not tolerate chaos and ineptitude.”

The rally was sponsored by Hollywood’s United Talent Agency in lieu of their traditional pre-Oscars bash to hammer at newly-elected President Trump, with actor Michael J. Fox among others joining in.

“We know that the first attack on democracy is an assault on free expression, civil liberties and this relentless war on the truth, ” Foster told the crowd. “And sadly, it’s too familiar because history repeats itself.”

“So you’re going to remember where you were today and what you did,” Foster told the crowd. “It doesn’t matter where you born, who you voted for. … All the colors in the identity rainbow — this is our time to resist. It is the time to show up and demand answers. It’s all of us trying to tell our elected officials to do their job.”

“We will not tolerate chaos and ineptitude,” she declared. “This is our time to resist.”

Fox News used fake security expert to discuss Swedish immigrant crime situation: report

On a Thursday night segment of The O’Reilly Factor, the Fox News Network presented an expert on security measures in Sweden, describing him as a “Swedish Defense and National Security Advisor,” despite the fact that the Swedish Defense Ministry has no knowledge of who he is.

Host Bill O’Reilly spoke with Nils Bildt, in an effort to back up Trump administration claims that Sweden is under siege from immigrants — a claim the Swedish government disputes.

Following Bildt’s appearance with O’Reilly, questions were raised in Sweden about his relationship with the government, with Dagens Nyhater reporting that he is a mystery to Swedish officials.

According to the report, Bildt is not only not known as a expert on Swedish violence, but was reportedly convicted of obstruction of justice and assault on a US law enforcement official in 2014 and subsequently sentenced to one year in prison.

O'Reilly=Fake News? Faux News? "Yes, Martha there is a Santa Clause and he's white!"

FOX discussion panels claim they are not to be taken seriously.FOX programming, unlike legitimate news sources, are not required to provide conventional news, because they are providing entertainment programming.

Has that changed ?I read the Onion reports, but I would not base my vote on what is posted in the Onion. I read the items because I want to laugh.I look for news media outlets known for exposing the truth, and in depth reporting.

It is bizarre for people to quote the panelists, as if there was something of worth in what they say.

The standard joke is witnessing Republican politicians ruining their reputations and losing their legitimate standing. After that, they are judged to be possible FOX show hosts.
