This is a place to leave advice for newbies and oldies alike, about how to negotiate Literotica and get an experience that's uplifting rather than demoralizing. Not that some of us don't need some genuine demoralizing from time to time.

The General Board
No, it is NOT the lobby of this social facility where you hang around looking for people of kindred spirit while staying conveniently anonymous, simultaneously avoiding all those scary private forums where you need experience to show up and show your face. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
Don't get me wrong. Peruse the General Board all you want. Learn the flavor of each of the vocal regulars. But, open your mouth, or especially if you have the nerve and naiveté to start a thread there. It will be either 1) a quick and inexplicable death or 2) a relentless pursuit of you, torturing you on every thread you start on any forum. Few exceptions. I cannot explain what genetic malfunction afflicts the people of the General Board ( the OP concedes that this thread was naively posted on the General Board, specifically because that is where all Lit Wisdom resides), but it is deep and irreconcilable, So, whatever your faith, creed, color, ethnicity, religion, or state of national origin, be forewarned: if you're the least bit timid, don't start at the General Board.
The General Board was dominated by extreme political fringes until popular demand gave birth to the Politics Board. There does exist some very limited political discussion that happens at the new PB. Most of the loud minority still continue to dominate here at the GB.
There are, indisputably, lots of nude photos in the GB, generally unregulated, something designed to suit every taste, be you oriented toward Cocksuckers or Camel toes; Perfect Gif's or Naughty at work Gif's; Asians, prones, or celebrities; small breast, huge hangers, downblouse or bondage. It's all there. Enjoy, but beware of opening your mouth before anyone gets to know you. I repeat, don't start a thread here when you have 10 posts!
