For point of reference, I don't think we've had a person worthy of the Office of the Presidency for a long time. I think the people criticizing Donald Trump are being unfair. I saw a YouTube video of someone demanding an investigation into Trump's ties to Russia. I did not see this same person demanding an investigation of conflicts of interest with respect to foreign countries donating to the Clinton Foundation while Clinton was Secretary of State and a candidate for President.
A feminist on NPR today related how she was in tears the day after Trump was elected because we had an admitted sexual predator in the White House. She didn't say if she felt the same way when Bill Clinton was in the White House. He was a liar, and certainly unworthy of the Office.
The left demonized the Tea Party, yet now, they are behaving the EXACT same way. Their behavior is deplorable as well.
I think that if you are going to take a position, apply it to everyone. "Not My President". The right was despised when they did that. Now the left is exactly the same. Two wrongs do not ever make a right. She called Trump supporters deplorable. Now the left is the same.

It's the difference between someone falling into minor infractions because she'd lived the privileged life long enough and had been under Swiftboating attack long enough to be slightly paranoic and not to consider all the angles all the time and with everything she did/didn't do being demonized and pushed all out of proportion and a vile man who is nasty in every possible way and doesn't bother even to hide it for all to see.

Which creates folks, like the OP, who are incapable of deep thought and assessment.

Idon't know. That sounds like a rationalization to me. Trump hasn't lived a priveleged life? He hasn't viewed himself as a target or victim? Mind you, I'm not defending him. I just view the Clinton's as equally un-likable.

Get back to me when the Republicans in Congress launch investigations of anything on Trump as they did with Hillary--even the use of unarchieved and unsecure communications. What do you have on Hillary to compare with Trump's connections with Russia? Benghazi? When does the investigation of the Yemen operation start? Sexual abuse? It's Trump; it wasn't Hillary; it was her husband. And the connected issues of spouses? Bill Clinton was a redneck good old boy; Trump's wife lied about her education, was a prostitute, illegal immigrant, porn model, and was sleeping with Trump before he was parted from his second wife (who was sleeping with him before he parted with his first wife). What about Clinton's foundation; it does a whole lot of documented good; Trump's foundation pays for portraits of him and puts charity money in his pocket. Finances? Yes, Hillary's made a load off of giving speeches; Trump's made a load off of going bankrupt and not paying his vendors. Taxes? Hillary's paid her full share forever, and has opened them to the public to prove it. Trump doesn't pay as much in taxes as that sharecropper picking lettuce in the California field and who Trump is persecuting for taking a job that no U.S. citizen will do.

Your position on unfair outrage is a pile of Swiftboating crap.

Ahhh... Jacob Bernstein and the NYT. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he apologized for his remarks about Mrs. Trump. That must have been humiliating for him.

The situation is not equivalent. The left is calling Trump an unacceptable president. The right was calling Obama an illegitimate, ineligible president. The difference is that the left is not denying facts and reality.

That's a distinction without a difference. In fact the left is saying that Trump is illigitimate by virtue of the popular vote, which they can't shut up about. Thay have taken the untenable position of denying reality by stating he is not their President. The left is clearly denying reality.
