This could be today's lunch!

Chargrilled beef, Black Forest ham, house pineapple onion chutney, spring mix greens, grilled cheddar goodness, tomatoes, pickles, and pepperoncinis on da side. A little heat. A little sweet.

Somewhere, I have a photo of the Hell city sign, just outside Trondheim. It didn't seem that bad, unless you were looking at the price of beer.
Ha! You've done quite a lot of travel Thør!

Oh gosh - MAKE it today's lunch! That pineapple onion chutney looks so scrumptious!

I almost shoved my phone in my mouth. If you aren't going to eat it for lunch, I will.

I pick it up in 25 minutes.

you had me, right up until the pickles. :(

vile little things

You could always say, "Hold the pickles." But, the roller derby girls who run the place would think you're a pussy.

I love pickles too.

I once considered ending a friendship over the other person not liking pickles. It's such a deal breaker :)

Edit: I really, really love pickled lemons. I eat those little suckers whole straight out of the jar sometimes. I wish I hadn't just brushed my teeth :(
I miss good old American garlic dills. I don't have a good excuse for why I'm not making my own. I've been dying to try pickled and/or preserved lemons! My brainbuds can't quite figure out what they might be like. I bought some vinegar powder some years ago and had great fun with that. I do like a Salt & Vinegar chip which makes my upper lip sweat - but they can't be got here. Had some when I was back home and thought my lips might fall off

I just checked, preserved lemons are on amazon. Or you know, I bring you some. I have a delicious chicken and green olive and preserve lemon dish that is an all time favourite midweek supper meal.

Salt and vinegar powder. Hmmm. Thinks about popcorn opportunities :)
That's exactly what I used it for! And making Salt & Vinegar zucchini chips.

Yes - bring some when you come and we can spend the afternoon with puckered mouths!

I'll let you know what it's like! I'm having all sorts of crazy ideas but won't know what I want to do with it until I've tasted it.

*pouting, because there is no vegetarian equivalent of Black Forest ham*

I may not eat meat, but my taste buds, nose, and brain remember very well, what they experienced before I stopped.
