Oh, I love it! :)

The (w)heelies cracked me up. Do they light up too? If yes, you must pack them for your trip!

I'm sorry about the car troubles.
Will this work instead of a real cuddle?

If you're hoping for a nice southern drawl you'll be disappointed. :)
Although I can do a fairly convincing imitation if pressed.
As for pictures, I might put up an av again.

Old bones.... Pshhh

Where have you been, stranger?

Hello gypsy! Nice to see you slumming around on the GB. :)

Wonderful cat pic. Mine would be hissing and slapping the snot out of each other!

Omg, going to bed very happy :)

Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

( yes those colours are the lights! Can you see the Hermes style wings? ) 😂

No, thank you! I really liked the poem.
Haha! I didn't even notice the wings at first. :D

where have YOU been, stranger?
glad to see you around again. :)

Buried in work, mostly. :)

Aah gypsy those two are beautiful. Are they yours? Is it you that had 3 or 4 gingers?

No, these aren't mine, but I saw the pic and the ginger reminded me of Pip. So handsome.

These are my little bastards:

Hi! Thank you. :)
Oh, they do that too, and then they make up and are besties again.

I just met my new doctor today. I was really curious to learn if she was going to be interested in handling my case or if she'd just throw her hands up in the air like every other specialist I've met.

She decided we're going on a 6 hour road trip to the biggest hospital in Denmark to present my case to the specialists. She basically said "This is what I'm going to do - and YOU'RE coming with me!"

THANK FUCK.

Will there be detours to the biggest ball of yarn and meteor craters?

Hurrah!!!!!

This is magnificent!

I am so delighted and excited for you!
I have been fighting so long and so hard just to be heard/taken seriously - you can bet I had my fists up when I came into her office this morning. It was a beautiful feeling when she took the wind out of my sails

Depends on if we're driving or taking the train  In all honestly I will probably just make a crass joke when we pass through Middelfart.

Aah look at em! Stunning. I remember that pic you posted where they were all lined up. God I love gingers. I'd have a house full.

I know - right?! Fuck me sideways what a slog! :D I belong to a pretty big (private) group of women with the same disease in all different stages/progression and the amount of information coming from them is huge. They are mainly from North America and Europe - with a few from Australia. The group was started 1.5 years ago by a friend of mine who had her surgeries in Germany and was inspired to make a place for the rest of us to join and share our experiences. It's invaluable because it has hundreds of first-hand accounts and post-op results. Right now it's useless information because it's not being recorded/shared by anyone else. Surgeons and those working for clinics are strictly barred from being there to avoid folks who are there for personal gain. Last week one member was being particularly vehement about the importance of choosing one procedure over another and she eventually let slip she works for a clinic offering that procedure - so she was booted. A couple of hours ago the site owner asked me to invite my GP to join! She has nothing to gain but knowledge and anything she learns in the group will only aide her (and her practice) in being able to properly diagnose in future - as well as learn what treatment options are available. I hope that she'll realise what a wealth of information she'll have at her fingertips - and I hope that as a doctor - she'll have some different questions to ask the group. This is really important to me personally because Denmark has approved me for surgeries - without knowing how to perform them  They may have the right to say "It's this - or NOTHING". Having a GP who is well-versed and understands why that's wrong/dangerous could be my key to being treated elsewhere by seasoned surgeons who can do these procedures with their eyes closed (Germany). I think even if the National Hospital doesn't want to take up the fight - my GP will be able to argue on my behalf that my treatment needs to happen in Germany for my own safety. I'm well chuffed!

People who say, "Life isn't fair," usually haven't been in too many things where life was unfair.

My mum dead at 46 from heart attack. Real sweet heart of a lady. Never swore, said her prayers before bed, got all giggly off two white Russians every few months, loved animals and children.

My younger brother dead at 38 from heart attack. The successful one. Cool globe jetting about job, about to become engaged to a real nice girl.

My dad dead at 64 from heart attack. He was youngest in his family. His brothers and sisters drink and smoke in the 80s. The old man could do anything he put his mind to. Came from very humble beginnings.

Life is NOT fair. It is what it is but fair ain't one of them.

I distinctly remember making a crass joke when driving through, in both directions. SWMBO laughed the first time, but thought the joke was too crude on the second pass.

Awwww! There are lots of towns with crazy names and you have to wonder if the folks on city counsel all got sloshed and then just started rattling of ridiculous ideas. When driving through Sperm you just have to shake your head and wonder what the hell they were thinking.

Somewhere, I have a photo of the Hell city sign, just outside Trondheim. It didn't seem that bad, unless you were looking at the price of beer.
