I'm surprised President Trump hasn't realized the commercial potential. Don't build a wall:-

1 Draw a line in the sand (got that idea from Obama) 1000 yards inside the border line, declare it a no go area.

2 Grant shooting gallery franchises along the border to the NRA.

5 Tempt the targets (sorry Mexicans) with the promise of a green card if they make it.

6 American shooters would come in their thousands. Charge 'em $50 /day - no bag limits. Allow the Mexicans guns one (unannounced) day a week.

Would solve two problems, migrants and a few gun nuts.

According to a ruling by the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit last week, agents who shoot and kill people in Mexico while standing on US soil will never be held to account, except before their administrative agencies. No court will ever review these actions and the families of the victims will be left with no avenue for justice. An agent’s actions will not be governed or restrained by the constitution nor subject to review by US courts.
