Mel is back on form!

Watched these two recently and loved both. Glad he's doing good stuff again instead of the Expendables shit and that ilk.

Anyone seen?

Lace will be here shortly to state he trained Gibson in all his stunt work, fucked his daughters and Madonna made a pass at his son during the end credits.

not seen them but they look good - tonight, though, i'm weighing up whether or not to go to the cinema to see Split. i definitely intend to watch it, but the showings are on fairly late... tonight's is 9.15 so it's a late one for me with work in the morning. wish i;d thought of it last night instead of this afternoon  james mcavoy look like he's acting his socks, vest, AND pants off in it.

I haven't seen Blood Father, but Hacksaw Ridge was excellent. He needs to stick exclusively with directing though.

I really want to see Split too but its on at strange times here too! And agreed, I want to see it for his performance alone as I'm no fan of M Night Shalimarwotnot films.

Fab wasn't it. The guy in it wound me up at first, was a bit Forrest Gumpy and annoying but fuck me, he made up for it.

Yeah he's a brilliant director. Blood Father was just classic Gibson in revenge mode but not cheesy like Expendables stuff.

I've always had a soft spot for him since he mowed Piper Laurie's lawns in those tight shorts in Tim. He's done some shit but he's done some good stuff too. Watched The Bounty at Christmas again, he was excellent in that, totally forgot Liam Neeson and Daniel Day Lewis were in it!

*checks Netflix queue*

It was a bit Forrest Gump early on. It started to put me off, but Mel saved it before it got unbearable.

Split really was a good watch. James McAvoy's performance carried it, certainly.

I like James McAvoy. I suppose I'm gonna have to go see it, although it's usually not the kind of movie I go for.

I watched both but can't say I thought either one was great but neither were bad either, overall I thought they were worth watching.

Absolutely, et cetera.

I can't tell which of his personalities was my favorite, he was so convincing as each one.

It wasn't as...thrilling as most psychological thrillers. I only really jumped at one part, but it was a decent movie, especially for Shyamalan.

It may be the goriest movie in total I've ever watched.

He loves a bit of blood does Mel. The Passion was pretty bloodthirsty too. I think the scourging at the pillar was one of the horriblest things I've seen bar Killswitch flirting in Iso.

Did you not see The Village? Only one I've liked.
