Share your heartfelt goodbye message to Michael Flynn

Hillary had far more of a threat of blackmail than Flynn. Sheeesh.

Hillary had far more of a threat of blackmail than Flynn. Sheeesh.

In what fucking universe?

The DOJ literally warned the WH counsel that there was a threat of compromise with Flynn and they had him sworn in anyway. Every briefing he attended was thereby potentially compromised.

Under what circumstances would HRC be compromised? (apart from your lies? something substantiated)

It's not, but I have very conservative friends who are beginning to suffer.

I was always concerned. I supported Cruz but I was committed to support the nominee, whoever it was, against Hillary who like Obama was going to continue dismantling the United States. Trump in contrast to those two did not hate America as founded. At worst I expected him to govern like a Sam Nunn or a Scoop Jackson based on his years of associations with Democrats in New York. His daughter is a liberal and he's already appointed Democrats into his inner circle. But, he doesn't hate the country as do the left.

What makes you think anyone did? Either they were lost or Hillary kept them.

The NSA has them for sure, as they have everything else, but we do know her server, according to the FBI, had been hacked by five foreign actors.

No wonder so many Yanks have a problem with the theory of evolution. 'Love America as founded'! Like it sprung from nothing pure and perfect? What about all those amendments to it's constitution? I guess zero progress since the mid 1700s is an ideal for some.

Nobody should take Elijah Cummings seriously when he worries about potential national security on his watch. What a bag of shit he is after defending Hillary's massive security breaches and crimes.

NATIONAL SECURITY
The Political Assassination of Michael Flynn

"In the end, it was Trump's decision to cut Flynn loose. In doing this he caved in to his political and bureaucratic opposition. Nunes told me Monday night that this will not end well. "First it's Flynn, next it will be Kellyanne Conway, then it will be Steve Bannon, then it will be Reince Priebus," he said. Put another way, Flynn is only the appetizer. Trump is the entree."

I think it has something to do with the role Protestant Christianity -- and much more in Nonconformist than Anglican forms -- played in shaping our national culture. The Scripture is original and inalterable.

The question now is, what and when did everyone else know that Flynn was running wild.

Yates probably knew, but as a professional public servant could say nothing. Pence by definition didn't know, did Trump? Bannon? anyone else on that security committee? The services guys that were excluded must be laughing their socks off.

Heaps of guys in various security roles probably know bits and pieces of the story. This is bound to leak - or be used by the pros to beat Trump's amateurs into line.

There is more of this story to come out yet.;)

"President Trump knew for three weeks that former national security advisor Michael Flynn misrepresented his contacts with a Russian diplomat before firing him under pressure, the White House acknowledged Tuesday in offering an account of Flynn’s downfall that differed strikingly from what it said a day earlier..."

So, the same incompetence cut both parties the same way, but we only care about it when Trump is in office???
Chum should be made of sterner stuff!

Suck it up buttercup. I'll give you the same treatment you gave the other side after Obama was elected: The Democrats aren't in power so don't try to deflect. The Democrats aren't the ones with the incompetent dipshits in the spotlight right now, YOUR PARTY IS. So suck it up and quit being a whiny little girl.

Thank you for your service to the country General, but you shouldn't have lied to the Vice President. Only a Democrat incompetent like Susan Rice can be National Security Director and lie repeatedly to the American people about Benghazi and keep her job.

Yea well we only need 8 investigations into this before you can start to say it's been completely investigated. So when do we start?

Oh, you mean the Logan Act? The obsolete, toothless, and no doubt unconstitutional act that in 200 years not a single American has ever been prosecuted under? That Act? Please, give us a break.

You mean like rule 19, right????

But don't think for a minute this resignation is enough. The Democrat Party, its embedded agent provocateurs in the permanent government and its domestic enemies writ large won't be happy until it brings down the entire Trump govenment.

What comes out of this affair is a simple fact, the Obama administration was wiretapping the Trump transition team, something Democrats wouldn't stand for if the shoe was on the other foot.

This would be funny as hell if it weren't so scary. I bet the wiretap team was hiding in the basement of the pizza shop next to the girls they were holding as sex slaves, right???

Chairman: House intel panel won’t investigate Flynn, will probe leaks... http://www.thehill.com/homenews/hou...panel-wont-investigate-flynn-will-probe-leaks

You do realize that all this article says is that the Republicans in congress are willing to cover the Donald for his screw ups don't you? Yea, I didn't think so.

Comshaw

He was told to submit his resignation. That's fired.

The Trump gang can't even lie straight on this one. They've vacillated since last night between "he resigned" and "the president asked for his resignation." The stake to the heart in this one is keeping him in position after the acting attorney general had informed them he was a possible security risk and in violation of security-realm laws. Anything happening after that is just more bumbling of the central indictable issue--keeping him in place in the national security loop after being informed of evidence he was in violation of more than one security-attached laws.

Letting him resign rather than firing him just adds fuel to the central issue problem. Apparently as this morning wore on, they realized that in the White House, so the new line is that he was fired ("the president asked for his resignation").

This doesn't wipe any of the egg off of Trump's face.
