Although I got around a lot in my younger, single days, I did not really have that many one night stands. The one that stands out was a woman that I liked - we met at a bar, went for dinner, went dancing and finally, at 2AM, went to my place. We had a good time and seemed sexually very compatible.

In the morning, I made breakfast and the she said "hey, maybe I'll see you around" and left. It was not a good feeling.

All in all, I prefer some connection. It doesn't have to be love, but 'like' is very good.

One nightstands are the most exciting kind of sex. As a guy I would add, especially if you pick up two girl friends and get them in bed together. Where to pick up a one night stand partner - bars and restaurants are the easiest place. Sometimes, just walking down the street in the early evening will work too.

I had quite a few in my younger years, the last one I had was almost 18 years ago, my best mate invited me to a barbecue, his wife invited her best mate too, we both thought it was a set up and she nearly went home as she'd previously been in a bad relationship and wasn't looking to get involved again.
Anyway we ended up having a one night stand and things got very physical,during the course of the evening her expensive red panties got torn, we both went our separate ways the following morning but I wanted to see her again, she however wasn't keen on the idea.
A couple of days later I went to see my friends again and asked if they had this woman's phone number, they had but wouldn't give it to me, and despite my mates wife asking her, she wouldn't ring me, it was then I had an idea.
I took a ten pound note out of my wallet, and wrote on it, "call me" and my number, I asked my mates wife to give it to her mate at work the following day.
Sure enough the woman rang me wanting to know what the tenner was for, "to replace the panties" I chuckled, anyway we got chatting and she agreed to come out with me again, that was in the July and we were married in the September of the same year.
