Why anyone buys Apple products is beyond me.... They are so fickle, burn out early, aren't compatible with most anything non apple. The kids rave over the stupid iPhone. They MUST have it... The a month later it's cracked, data space is full and it's acting up.. My computer with a core7 is running just as smooth as it did the day I brought it home. Six years ago.

Lobster claws rule for winter biking. Fingered gloves can be too cold and full mitts unwieldy. Nice to be able to grab brake lever and still hold handlebar securely.

I also have switched my brakes around. I run the front brake on the right motorcycle fashion. So I don't get confused in a panic stop on either and grab too much of the wrong brake. Too much rear can be worse than too much right, sometimes.

My 2002/2003 Power Mac G4 sits right next to my other gear to run old apps that no longer work on the newer systems. I did replace the power supply in it, but that was a Samsung part.

A few years ago, on my off days, when the weather was all sunshiney and made me wanna go strollin', I used to walk past ground floor offices in downtown TriBeCa and look in the landscape windows. Some of them were still using the first G5 iMacs from 2004.

I remember when these joints were the top of the line. I forget what the OS upgrade ceilings were on this model, but if you kept them in good condition and the corresponding soft of that era, they're still legit for a lot of shit and linkable to new rigs.

Had a friend that bought one, but just before the 2005 version knocked it out the box. Wonder if she still has it.

I liked them because they were so space age shiny and at the time, had good monitor acreage combined with the chassis. Absolutely perfect design for desk systems.

Their gradual evolution into the newest ones today has been pleasant to live through, I agree.

I'd love some red lobster gloves! Zumi has the right pic, wrong sport. I want them for snowshoeing. Yesterday was -3 and my fingertips were stinging! I even had hand warmers shoved in there. Thor recommends squeezing my poles, so I'll try that too.
