The LGBTQ Left Should Thank Trump For Immigration Order

Thanks for posting this.

I'm a lesbian. I have a lot of gay friends. I have never understood why so many of them instinctively take the side of the Muslim radicals who would literally stone them to death if they caught them in their domains.

You're welcome.

No one is taking the side of radicals.

No? If you think not, then I think you need to reconsider which of us does not "understand what's happening."

I don't know where you live, but here in Wisconsin, since almost immediately after 9/11, I have heard countless Americans defend and support not just the position, but even the actions, of al Qaeda, Hamas, the Taliban, etc. Amazingly, many of these people have been women, gay, or both. They don't seem to "understand what's happening" to women and homosexuals in places controlled by groups like that.

People keep calling it a travel "ban." It's actually just a pause of 3 to 4 months while the government improves the procedures for vetting immigrants from countries identified by the Obama administration as the primary sources of terrorists. As a gay woman, one of the prime victims of Islamist policies, I'm happy for that.

That mindset believes that everyone thinks like they think and when third-world Muslims move here, our culture rubs off on them, they moderate, and they accept and celebrate the gay...

... you know, like the shoe bomber, the Boston Marathon bomber, the shooters of San Bernardino, the Fort Hood shooter...,

;)

The only real terrorist was the ultra religious right-wing neo-con Limbaugh fan, TIMMAH!

You forgot to mention Omar Mateen, who killed 49 people and wounded 53 others in a terrorist attack against Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando.

Perhaps SgtSpiderMan thinks women and homosexuals aren't worth the bother of extra security precautions.

It's hard to name them all. ;) ;)

It amazes me that the same people who find everything Christian evil, yet fall all over themselves to explain why Islam has only a couple of bad apples...

That's because Christians fly airliners into skyscrapers, chop off people's heads on camera, and send teens as suicide bombers into markets filled with women and children... Oh... Wait....

Christians cling to their guns, Bibles and morality and that morality is an inconvenient truth.

The fact the vast majority of the second- and third-world Islamic populations have a far more stringent morality just doesn't seem to register or bother them, it is, after all, so far away, but damn it! despite their best efforts, they even have fucking Christians in their neighborhoods...

You've got a pretty rapidly evolving story here, I'll do my best to keep up. First it was your LGBTQ associates taking sides with radicals, now it's just general Americans. You've been vague up to this point so hopefully you'll elaborate on exactly which radical policies these people in Wisconsin are siding with.

The ban, and the people who are calling it a ban are people like The White House Press Secretary, bans refugees, the people trying to get away from the radicals.

Well, you know what they do to property values!

:D

I doubt they'd use that method. It's not painful enough. They're medieval savages.

If you're a lesbian why do you hate gay people from the middle east?

I would think you'd be supportive of their efforts to get away from people who would like to kill them.

I have seen few, if any, Americans supporting Muslims who want to kill homosexuals, but I've see many Americans supporting Christians who want to kill homosexuals in places like Uganda. Even to the point of using tax dollars to support the effort.

I think what she may have meant is leftists falsely claiming it's a Muslim ban.

Well you're right, Trump did say he'd let in Christians, so it's not a complete ban for those countries, only a ban on Muslims.

Sure.

The people I refer to are activists and politicians, mostly in Madison but some in Milwaukee, who protested and pontificated in favor of both al Qaeda and the Taliban after the invasion of Afghanistan, and continually provide rhetorical and even financial support to Hamas.

As for the travel "ban," if you prefer, get your facts straight. It is for only 3 months against general travel and 4 months against refugees. That's less than the 180 day ban on Iraqi refugees President Obama imposed in 2011. Did you oppose that "ban" on refugees? I did not. I'm not inconsistent in my belief system.

Say what?

Every single one of those countries are Muslim?

How can it then not be a ban on the peaceful practitioners of Islam???

I mean, CHICAGO and DETROIT are less peaceful than those countries AND THEY'RE CHRISTIAN!

Well you're right, Trump did say he'd let in Christians, so it's not a complete ban for those countries, only a ban on Muslims.

I don't think that's what the order says. The order does not discriminate by religion, does it?
