It's so cute that you're believing the media companies that favor page views over the truth. Polls aren't very good indicators of the truth, especially polls conducted outside of voting stations. Most of the people I associate with don't answer any polls, whether it's some asshole calling them, junk (e)mail, or some 'tard with a clipboard in the parking lot.

Sure, feel free to go with the media comanies saying it's the fault of "middle-aged angry white men" that Trump was elected. I've seen "news" stories with the percentage points across the board, but it's this type of survey that gets most of the press.

In my area, there hasn't been a polling station in years. Every registered voter is mailed a ballot, which is filled out and brought to a dropbox or mailed back. Combining that with how many other counties where it's available, plus absentee ballots, shows how badly skewed those exit poll numbers could be. The government has ways to identify voters, but from the way the voting is done, you can't identify who voted for what, just that they got a checkmark for participation.

On average, I probably get called about once a week for some stupid poll. They are just about as annoying as telemarketers, so they get the same harsh treatment, but somehow they keep calling back like they enjoy the abuse. You'd think they would mark my number as one to not call after a while, lol...
