Why? You can't enjoy the cool, clean, crispness of winter if you live too far south. You can't see and appreciate the spectacular colours and changes of fall. Nor can you experience the glory of spring after a long cold winter.

It's a Yin Yang thing.

To have summer all the time would be boring! All it would do would get unbearably hot during summer.
