they had some cool chants. my favorite was "1, 2, 3, 4, fuck you and your civil war!"

lots of "fuck trump!" chants, short & sweet but not super creative.

saw this little concert area being set up in franklin square park yesterday

met a bunch of trump supporters on the subway ride in, from north carolina, ohio and kentucky. they were all very pleasant, much to my dismay. the older couple sitting next to me were part of a "motorcycle ministry".

The aerial shots I've seen look very unimpressive. They've been reporting hotel vacancies all week, and plenty of places to park today. Not like most inaugurals.

You're right to an extent, there certainly are more places to put people. Maybe the republicans should've taken a page out of the demoprog's playbook and paid moron's $15 an hour to show up and fill those seats.
