This is getting beyond a joke and the site is making it more difficult and complicated for a keen author.

New stories of mine have been rejected although there is no disallowed subjects, underage etc. I guess because in the intro I have stated that these are stories of mine I have lifted from ASSTR, THERE I HAVE SAID IT.

I have had comments in here about my works are better suited to ASSTR - whoops said it again. and in the text of those comments ASSTR was mentioned.

So it's OK to mention in the forum where anyone can see it, but not in story headers where only a few interested in my work will see it?

I have spent a lot of time editing those works to bring them in line with Literotica and at the final hurdle, still rejections.

Look, what do you want to hear? Do exactly what Laurel wants if you want to get your stuff posted; don't, and you won't.

It's that simple. Most of us have figured out that magic formula; respectfully, if you can't, I don't think it's the site's fault.

I want to see my work in here for folks to read, simple as that. I will make my case to big L and see where it gets me, but can you or any one understand my point above. To now delete them and re-post is a pain enough.

I think there are several reviewers of stories who are jobsworths, it is easy to see the ASSTR is not in the text purely in the intro.

You're not allowed to refer to other websites ( even fake websites ) within the text ( which includes the intro/outro ) of a story. I had a brain fart and mentioned that my last story was originally an exclusive to my website that I'd decided to share with a wider audience, which caused only my third rejection ever.

There's a bit more leeway here on the forum because you may have a story that doesn't fit within Lit's guidelines, but other authors may know a place where it can be published. It's still frowned upon when done on the open forum, but generally let slide unless it becomes habitual. An actual link is against the rules even in this case, unless approved.

If they've already been submitted and rejected, don't delete and resubmit.

Go to the Rejected link in your control panel. Click it. Below the reason for the rejection is all your story information. Make changes there, preview via the button at the bottom of the page, and then submit via the button at the end of the preview.

So send Laurel a polite PM asking her. I had a story rejected, not too long ago, for containing a URL. So I did what I suggested above. Turns out that it was because I didn't think that "http-colon-slash-slash-www-dot-somedomain-dot-com" (a legitimate site, but spelled out exactly that way) was a URL, but she did. I'd thought all she was concerned about was hot-linking. Not so. She doesn't want URLs in stories. Period.

It's her site; she gets to make the rules. We don't have to like them; we have to abide by them or go elsewhere.

I removed it and resubmitted, and the story appeared the next day.

I've mentioned Lit as Literotica in a story, I have also mentioned Voyeurweb by its name, not as a URL. Everything went through just fine.

Now I guess Laurel will comb my stories to see which one...I took it down a while ago for publication at a pay site so no need.

The reason for the story rejection will have been given to you. Clean it up and resubmit. It's not hard.

In this case, the mention of another site in your preamble draws attention in terms of a) potential story content and b) the other website itself.

Perhaps you should stay in the other place, as you appear to be getting serial rejections here. If you want to get past Laurel's radar, follow her rules.

JFC. How many complaint threads is this for you now? Have you considered that maybe your kinks just aren't compatible with the site?

Seconded. Just stay with the one thread, please. They're all the same complaints. we all live with it. Just understand LIT's rules and go with the flow....
