Congratulations, Republicans

You invited a man that resembles a combination of a bloated and elderly Alfred E. Neuman ( from Mad mgazine), a malignant and malicious Señor Frog, and Jabba the Hutt. Put a top hat on Donald Trump, and he resembles a caricature of the 19th century robber barons that led the unsuspecting into poverty.

Donald Trump's Billionaire Old Boys Club are having a delightful time, and Donald has not put on his President Hat, yet.

Will Russia's billionaires sit at Trump's table, with the other favored billionaires ?

Billionaries should only rub elbows with other billionaires. They are the only ones who wear elbow patches.

There's nothing quite like 80 year old people who have lived a life of luxury, and I'm sure their combined history fully empowers them to know the plight of the commoners that they govern.

I'm hopeful, but worried. I don't think it will be horrible though.

So nothing has changed except a few of the billionaires.

Too bad there wasn't a (D) in office for 8 years who could have done something about that.......oh wait, maybe (D) should have thought of that before they became THE party of big billionaires.

That's mostly true as well.

There were a few other changes though. He's replaced many SJW racist cheerleaders with people who can think critically. Hopefully they aren't the same type of "yes, master" men&women from before.

If nothing else, I'm glad there's been a change from the status quo. There's lots of things that need to change in our country, and blindly following in others' footsteps isn't the way to do it.

When it comes to wealth, there's not much difference between members of the two major parties. Most of them, including Hillary, are members of that envied 1%.

That is not only unlikely but has yet to be seen.

Though you are right, he did replace some bigots.

Remember that when (R)'s are making up excuses for DJT's socialist bullshit.

Can't tell some of the lunatic (D)'s that.

The fucking idiots think (D) is the party of the working class as they make up endless excuse's for (D) elitism and oppression.

There was a time when it was. Some fifty plus years ago. Now it has become a joke, Hillary was this year's punchline.

What do you mean by "members"? The DNC officials and the Dems holding public office are no more or less "members" of the Democratic Party than I am. In the American system a "member" of a party is nothing more or less than one registered to vote in its primaries. Unlike some countries, we don't have party dues or party membership cards.

Perhaps it might be for the better if that were to change.

You manage to say absolutely nothing of substance. Merely vacuous smears. Do you somehow flatter yourself into thinking you have something to say?

I am not a great fan of Trump nor how he made his billions. Except for Wilbur Ross and perhaps Mnuchin, I don' think the cabinet is extremely wealthy. But even if they were, they made their money by by the intelligent application of their own efforts. The same cannot be said of Putin's crony capitalists. That is a distinction that seems to go entirely past you when you draw a simple-minded comparison that fails to hold up to scrutiny.

No, they didn't, no more than Trump did. There are really very few 1%ers who meet your description. Most of them made their money the really old-fashioned way: They inherited it.

Probably none of them are as rich as John Kerry.

I have always heard and read that Kerry was one of the richest members of Congress. Here is a list of members, and he would be second on the list if he were still I the Senate: http://media.cq.com/50Richest/

Wealth is not included on income tax returns, unless it is in the form of depreciable assets. Securities and residential property are part of wealth but have little to do with income.

What does that have to do with the thread topic? The thread wasn't indexing members of Congress (not to mention that it's Kerry's wife who has the wealth--through a dead former husband). You're just being your usual deflecting half-brained self.

Very little. What does your Post 18 have to do with the topic?

Donald Trump has not released his tax returns. Did you notice that?
