We've been progressing at a pretty rapid clip these last couple of weeks now that I'm out of Christmas Retail Hell, but if you need us to hold up for you we can!

The mighty Missouri is pretty damn wide, but I think we can fudge it.

Between the pachyderm's fastball and Thea's now supernatural agility, you should be able to clear whatever distance you need.

Considering how many evil mammoths we've fought today, it's nice to have a good one on our side.

I know it may sound silly given that The Big Bad of this Event is still standing, but if you haven't started thinking about storylines that you'd like to visit between this event and the next one, please do! PM me if you have anything you'd like to pitch or brainstorm.

It could be as simple as downtime activities, dates between characters, research and development, that sort of thing.

Varshanka, would you still be interested in helping to piece together Val-Zod's mind? Wondergirl and Rose?

As for the next arc...

...I think that now that we don't need to worry as much about getting the band together, it can be a more straightforward Justice League mission. Bad guys show up, we go punch them, save the world. Does anyone object to that? Or did we like the fact that we really had to go hunting for the bad guys before we fought them this time? Is a little variety in the formula okay?

The next story will start to get us a little deeper into the mythology, here, and then after that we'll really start to plumb the rabbit-hole.

Unless we jump the shark or something. Fingers crossed for luck!

--but right now Elemental Woman is engaged with Static in the form of chlorine gas. I don't know if that would alter Xarathos' tactics at all-- given that chlorine supports ignition, it might cause the air and other things around Static to start burning much more easily.

But Xarathos doesn't really give a flying Fuck, and if Chlorine burns.. all the better. Either way Elemental Lady gonna burn sooner or later.
