Effective January 1, I have resigned my tenured faculty position at Georgia Tech...

...A deciding factor was that I no longer know what to say to students and postdocs regarding how to navigate the CRAZINESS in the field of climate science. Research and other professional activities are professionally rewarded only if they are channeled in certain directions approved by a politicized academic establishment — funding, ease of getting your papers published, getting hired in prestigious positions, appointments to prestigious committees and boards, professional recognition, etc.

How young scientists are to navigate all this is beyond me, and it often becomes a battle of scientific integrity versus career suicide (I have worked through these issues with a number of skeptical young scientists)...​

Not sure what you refer to. Anthropogenic climate change is the obvious conclusion, once you look at carbon isotopes in the atmosphere.

Volcanoes and other natural sources of CO2 put out specific levels of isotopes, and other isotope levels are found in fossil fuels. Guess which isotopes have been increasing in the atmosphere at the same rate as fossil fuel consumption.

Maybe except...most meteorologists that work on local news use their own data/News station data and data they and local colleges etc, collect from local weather stations across their area. For example Fox news in Vegas would check all the stations across the Las Vegas Valley to find the average temperature for the day...the highs, lows etc and then they would compare it with their data for last year or the last 20 years.

These guys are all telling us, all of that data is telling us that each year is getting hotter.

It has nothing to do with NASA, in some instances. It really is getting hotter. We have to at least agree on that, once we agree on that then we can argue the causes and actions we need to take.

Assuming that's even true, which I doubt, I think you'll find they are references to Jesus of Nazareth, not Jesus the Christ. If you're talking about historical references.

The global surface temperature records show a substantial increase in recent decades. If global warming isn't real, there needs to be a hiatus and a decrease in those temperature records. Go fetch.
