Climate policy continues to change

Scientists were in full agreement about the earth being flat.

And Y2K.

Everybody with half a brain knows that, on the subject of climate, Wikipedia is a completely worthless source of information. It is utterly bent.

Activists (witness the notorious William Connolley) have bombed the site with propaganda.

...Wikipedia, being at the mercy of thousands of Winston Smiths in the form of the banned and maligned William Connolley, is like a shape-shifting information portal at the will of the controlling Wikipedians. It might be good enough for a passing blog reference, but there’s no guarantee it will have the same meaning as a citation tomorrow or even an hour from now. With such shape shifting references at the mercy of often politically motivated editors, it certainly isn’t good enough for scientific publication citation.

Maybe that’s why there has been a movement at colleges to ban Wikipedia as a source, even going so far recently as to remove it from college dorm WiFi connections.

Zealots and activists like Connolley should never be trusted as editors, (his track record speaks for itself) and Wikipedia edit wars were even the subject of a study...

And anybody with a whole brain knows Wikipedia is an excellent open source of information. Wiki is not allowed in schools because all the work is done for you. Not that it is incorrect. School is for learning how to learn. And using Wikipedia is akin to having someone else write your papers for you.

Not long ago the word liberal took on a negative connotation so they rebranded themselves as progressives. When the global warming myth came under suspicion it magically became climate change. They'll need to rename it again soon. They're good about changing definitions.

Ha!

As its own disclaimer states, information on Wikipedia is contributed by anyone who wants to post material, and the expertise of the posters is not taken into consideration.

'Liberal' does not have negative connotations. Regressives have attempted to attach negative connotations to it though.

A lot like the word "conservative."

In its current form, conservative means: "We want to control every aspect of every person's life. From birth to death you are ours to serve the oligarch class. We have no interest in conserving anything but our own wealth."

Sure. Whatever you say.

Here we go. Another Sgt. Spiderman running around in circles type of debate.

Poor benighted foreigner didn't get the reference.:)

Liberalism is the philosophy for our time, because it does not try to conserve every tradition of the past, because it does not apply to new problems the old doctrinaire solutions, because it is prepared to experiment and innovate and because it knows that the past is less important than the future. P.E.T.

It's not a debate, AJ was and is still wrong, so were you. You two fanatics don't like what the evidence says.

If you have evidence to the contrary please present it.

ROTFLMFAO

Hilarious. Classic strawman. Next time, don't be so amazingly obvious.
