"The Bible tells us that God made the land animals on Day 6 of creation," Ark operator Ken Ham explains on his group’s website. "And who else was created on Day 6? Well, Adam and Eve. And how long ago was that? Well, when you add up all the dates in the Bible, about 6,000 years.

So, taking God at his word in Genesis, dinosaurs lived beside people about 6,000 years ago," he continued.

Ham and his group have taken heat from scientists, including Bill Nye, who say human life emerged in Africa about two million years ago, roughly 63 million years after the last dinosaur.

Absurd argument

"Hey Washington Post, we at Ark Encounter have NEVER said Dinosaurs were wiped out during Flood — get your facts right,” he wrote. “I challenge Washington Post to show ONE instance where Ark Encounter supposedly says Dinos died out during Flood!”

Ham, the founder of the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter, took to Twitter on Sunday to angrily scold the Washington Post for an article that linked his museums to a theory that claims Noah’s flood wiped out the dinosaurs
.

Said article

Folks who identify as “creation scientists” have no problem with the notion that dinosaurs once roamed the Earth. They just think the beasts lived alongside humans on a planet that’s only about 6,000 years old.

Their extinction theory? The dinos were wiped out 4,000 years ago in the worldwide flood described in Genesis.

Now there’s a theory that dinosaurs were wiped out in Noah’s flood

You’re less likely to have heard of former creationist David MacMillan. He joined the directors of “We Believe in Dinosaurs” for a recent Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) to explain why some people accept “creation science.”

One key question: Why is it called “science”?

The label is popular with creationists, MacMillan writes, because it allows them “to set themselves up as participants in an equal controversy, as if there are two equal sides to choose from.” To bolster that idea, he adds, “some creationists also try to mimic the appearance of hypotheses, research, and so forth.”

I understand indulging in fantasy, when approaching a religion.
It is a individual's choice.

But, indulging in fantasy when voting ?
I am sorry, but I disagree strongly.
There is enough human suffering, human deprivation, and disorganization.
America cannot afford to blindfold itself, and ignore reality.

I wouldn't quote Bill Nye as a reference source . He's been debunked and proven to falsify experiments to support the "Cause".

Nye is a sad man --a propagandist. Like Al Gore, nothing more than a charlatan and an political opportunist.

Dinosaur fossils are the work of Satan to cast doubt on God's creation. There never were any dinosaurs.

Sorry, you're wrong.
The earth was created 5 minutes ago complete with all the evidence for evolution and everyone with memories, in order to test our faith in god.

In the beginning God said let there be light and there was light .
You could see for fucking miles .

I'm just happy ham was created...and bacon.

You'll never be able to prove God does or doesn't exist. You either have faith or you don't. The smallest detail is all that it takes to destroy your belief. It was only a small bite of an apple, right?

Reality is not even 'real'. It is a 3D holograph being played out on the screen which is the outer edge of the expanding universe.

"The actual size of the observable universe is 46 billion light-years in any direction, even though the universe began only 13.8 billion years ago, Mack said. But that still sets a limit on the size of the universe humans can see, called the observable universe. Anything outside of that radius of 46 billion light-years is not visible to Earthlings, and it never will be. That's because the distances between objects in the universe keep getting bigger at a rate that's faster than the light beams can get to Earth."

I do like the way you put that. In addition to bacon I include beer.
