Actually the take I am going with is Blackfire isn't looking for G.R.I.D.. My take is she is on leave from L.E.G.I.O.N. and figured she would come visit little sis. Hell, she might not even know what G.R.I.D. looks like. I am thinking she is less evil and more law enforcement.

Who do you envision as running L.E.G.I.O.N. in this timeline? When Zet and I were developing the concept of Lysl Dox, I imagined Lysl taking the place of Vril Dox II, but I suppose that doesn't entirely rule him out.

According to Milton's origin, Lysl was a female clone of Vril who rebelled but was captured and imprisoned, but she managed to send out The Mothership and The G.R.I.D. Armor to find a proxy who could come back and help free her later.

So Lysl is locked away. There could also be a Vril II in this timeline but I had thought that Lysl was the Vril II in this universe.

Vril I could have formed L.E.G.I.O.N. to hunt for G.R.I.D., or it could have been formed by someone else entirely? Unless you need there to be a Vril II?

I appreciate that your heart was in the right place, I really do!

But in one of my very first times writing on a thread on here-- it was one of Tears', actually, "Fantasia," one of the other hero characters teleported mine out of a dangerous situation. He was totally trying to help, I know, but in not checking in with me first he totally removed me from the storyline, I couldn't come up with a way to get back into things, and I totally bluescreened.

I know it can take you out of the moment to stop and have to check with someone else and that's frustrating when you're on a roll writing, but in the long run it's better for everyone. No-one gets their agency taken away, and everyone gets a voice in the events.

After all, this is collaborative fiction, we should collaborate on it!

I'm totally cool with her having a healing factor, magic zoanthropic curses usually involve accelerated regeneration of some kind.

The reason I ask is because Garfield can copy Thea's current form and heal up no problemo, no dead beached whale blocking The Missouri.

I talked it over with Zet, and we're thinking that Lysl Dox was able to set up this world's version of L.E.G.I.O.N. before getting captured and having to send out The Mothership to get help. So it's out there in the universe opposing Brainiac's conquer-and-collect initatives, but it's being run by one of the field leaders of the team rather than by Lysl herself. Heck, Blackfire could be leader-- or Phase, or The Durlan, whatever's clever.

In any case, if Blackfire shows up wearing L.E.G.I.O.N.'s symbol, the AI!Lysl in Milton's head could still blow a fuse.
