"I know a lot about hacking and hacking is a very hard thing to prove, so it could be somebody else."
- Donald Trump, Dec 31, 2016

In fact, he knows so much about cyber security he wants to use the weakest link in cyber security for sensitive information.
"You know, if you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old-fashioned way ... because I'll tell you what: no computer is safe,"

So send out 20 couriers for a single message. Which means using a photocopier to make 20 copies, which photocopiers store on their hard drives which the Inspector General of the National Archives and Records Administration found aren't being shredded or wiped before disposing of the photocopiers.

Trump rarely uses email or computers, despite his frequent tweeting.

"You know, if you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old-fashioned way," Trump told reporters during his annual New Year's Eve bash.

"I know a lot about hacking," he said, "and hacking is a very hard thing to prove, so it could be somebody else."

*Just because Briebart or what ever alt media does not report stupid things said by T-Rump does not make them false*

Trump isn't on the job yet. :)
Really?
He's negotiated with Egypt on a UN resolution. Negotiated with Carrier on tax breaks. Negotiating with Boeing and Lockheed Martin regarding government contracts.
Sure sounds like he's on the job to me.

Allegedly.
Yeah, that's how smart Obama is. He had that story put out just to make Trump look stupid in 2016 after he won the election..

Not even on the clock and already making a difference. :)

They found Osama bin Laden by tracking his "old fashioned" courier.

Took them 10 years, several thousand dead troops and a couple trillion bucks.

How much you want to bet it would have been a much quicker affair had he regularly updated his FB status?

For all we know Osama BL is living in a hospital suite in Buenos Aires hooked up to a dialysis machine eating dates.

Umm, well, no difference on the UN resolution, no difference on Carrier, other than giving them $70m to get rid of jobs. It remains to be seen if he'll make any difference with Boeing or Lockheed Martin.

Yeah, but apparently Bin Laden thought couriers were safer. Bummer for him he was wrong. Merely delayed the inevitable.

You lost. Put a sticky on your fridge to remind you every day. TRUMP WON.

Top executives think differently than politicians. Still, he's not on the clock for about 18 days. We'll have to see how it goes.

FYI, I wasn't running for president.

Ah, I left out a couple.
Reworking our relationship with China and Taiwan. And deciding the disposition of US Naval assets.

They are safer, obviously so. OBL might have been public enemy #1 but he wasn't stupid he knew our tech was not only our greatest advantage but also our greatest weakness.

People get on a phone, send a text, email, or whatever they are much greater risk of exposure. The whole internet can attack your shit the second you put it out there. Cell phones get intercepted and listened in on....radios too.

If you want to hack a courier you're going to have to go out and kill a mother fucker, take it from him personally. Which is a lot harder to do in the 3rd world than you might think. He had M'uricuh on a goose chase for a fucking DECADE with that shit. He had to get sick and practically stuck on his death bead for us to finally chase his ass down and plug him.

Gotta give him credit for the strategy, went old school on the high tech and against un-fucking-believable odds.....he won with it right up until his health shit and he fell out. Like a fuckin' Carlo Gambino, the guy was the bad guy but I gotta give him respect....he was GOOD at being the bad guy. Total bad guy hall of famer.

That's no surprise to them. Nor will it be to Israel. Still...not president yet. :)

If you'll notice, I didn't say he was president.

In any case
Hyperbole:
exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally.

The weakest link in information security before the Internet was humans. However, this hasn't changed. Social engineering is a hacker's best skill.
