I had a story rejected after four months

Well . . . actually . . . I've seen both male-for-female and male-for-male strip clubs. The women patrons throw themselves around and squeal. The male patrons withdraw into themselves and focus their eyes and their hands. Since you asked. *smile*

Well, there yah go! Women love the attention and the ones who take the opportunity to go to a strip club, are truly men's equals. I'll be sure to let you know if and when I get over the disgusting idea that men are nothing more than sexual objects. :D

I did my innings as a sexual object and enjoyed every minute of it. I didn't pretend otherwise.

We all come to an age when we would like to be checked out;)

I'm old but I'm totally not past the age where I want women to check me out. I used to take tickets at shows for the dance company that my daughter worked for. I owned my own tuxedo and wore it at the door. You might be surprised at the number of ways you can outfit a tux and the different effects you can get that way.

Umm, if you want to get checked out by every woman who sees you then you should wear a tuxedo. It's like a woman wearing a bikini. A lot of the women who walked through that door trailed their hand over my arm or across my shoulder. I became very pleasantly accustomed to their touch. I was a sort of readily available tuxedo whore.

Had I worn a good suite--well fitted and made from fabric that was meant to be touched--then the effect probably would have been bigger.

Nothing better than a well fitted tuxedo, especially a room filled with them. Not only makes a girl feel good, but what an opportunity to wear the dress you always wanted and compete for the handsome men.

Omg...I think I just melted. ;) I'll go to sleep tonight with visions of tuxedos and silk suits dancing in my bed! Er...I meant head. Yeah. :D

Men want health, women want wealth. It just never changes.

(We're going to pretend that beauty is a signifier for health, but there's some evidence that's actually true.)

Agreed. I'm just trying to figure out now how I ended up in the wrong line? Just because a man owns a nice suit doesn't indicate wealth. It indicates elegance and class...but not necessarily wealth.

I was always told to look at his shoes...:)

If the shoes are well-cared for, the age may not matter.

No truer statement I've heard in a while, says the guy with boots and hats over twenty years old. The hat in my AV was pushing 35 when that picture was taken. It still looks just as good.

If his shoes are old there wont be much in his wallet:D

Reminds me (weirdly) of the photo coverage of the assassination of the Russian ambassador to Turkey a couple of days ago. They showed him on the ground and the soles of his shoes weren't in very good condition. It reminded me of what I'm sure most of our mothers told us when we went out in the car--to make sure we had on clean underwear in case we had an accident and had to go to the ER. Unlike other mothers (I'll bet), mine would then cackle and say that chances were good we'd mess our pants in a car accident anyway.

I often wore these...

The few really rich people I know dress for comfort because they can. Shoes get comfortable with age.

The only guys I know who get spendy on clothing are the single guys with median incomes who hope women will notice how spendy they are. I thought it was clever until I overheard one woman point out that "spending on cars and clothing to get laid a lot might work... but the guy is going to want that investment to keep paying out. Don't expect loyalty."

Conspicuous wealth does pull in the females, but it's worth remembering that it can backfire. And you can't hide inside a suit forever.

Hmm. You may be thinking of some of Pilot's cover art. I wore the shoes with the tux.

Ironically, women who wear tuxedos also look quite elegant. I prefer white on a woman, though, which is weird, because I normally like black in a man's tux, and greys in men's suits. John Gotti looked amazing in a dark grey suit.

(note to self...check out Pilot's cover art :D)

If beauty includes clear skin and a well-formed body, then yes, it is related to good health. Wide hips and ample breasts are supposed to signify a woman's ability to carry and support a growing fetus and baby.

But I do object to the blanket statement of "women want wealth." I would not object to the statement of "women want evidence that a man can support himself, or has the wherewithal to do so in the future". Thus we all want a good investment.

Sometimes a couple w-2's, last job review, and credit check can be helpful on a 2nd date.....or is it the 1st date, I forget.

Going both ways.

Just think what a fun date that would be.

"So, John, how long have you been in international banking? If you have a card I would like to call your office to verify employment."

"Of course, Sally. Here you go. Is that your last gyne checkup on the table?"
