I've been casually reading stories here for many of those 14 years. I only recently decided to participate in discussions here. Man, am I disgusted by the majority of posters who hate liberals (why?) and Obama. I'm not going to try and defend him because I think that many of the haters made their decisions when they saw his skin color.

Those of you gloating over the outcome of the last election should recognize that this is close to a fifty-fifty nation with usually a slight edge in the total vote to the Dems. There are many undemocratic reasons why the governing distribution distorts this.
