I remember being curious and google-ing in the term "conscription" a while back.
It brought me to a few Israeli bloggs or alternative media sites, which stated that more and more israelis (as in laypersons) are critical of this practice , as well as of the military indoctrination in schools, which starts quite early on.

I imagine that if they hold such views, they have similar feelings re the WB settlements.

Christianity wouldn't have existed if not for jews.
I'm not versed in these matters at all, but I also understand that they were a bit better than christians at preserving the traditions of spiritual teachings (the Kabbalah etc.), and didn't comercialize religion or personlize 'God'. as some of the 20th century christians did.

Don't forget that Jesus was a Jewish messiah. He, like all the others of his time, failed to deliver the Jews from the Romans, that pesky crucifixion for treason put the damper on that.
