Electors will fry with the rest of us, when Jabba the Drumpf blows us all up.

Tweet of the day, involves nuclear weapons.

"The United States must greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability u.til such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes."

This, from the God Emperor of Grotesques, Jabba the Drumpf, on Twitter.

Putin and the deranged man who is about to become the POTUS, are chatting about nukes.

Putin addressed Russia’s nuclear capacity.

In a speech that recapped military activities in 2016, Putin said the army's preparedness has "considerably increased" and called for continued improvement that would ensure it can "neutralise any military threat".

"We need to strengthen the military potential of strategic nuclear forces, especially with missile complexes that can reliably penetrate any existing and prospective missile defence systems,” Putin said.

There are more than 15,000 nuclear weapons in the world, over 90% of which are in the US and Russia. Since the end of the cold war, the old rivals have worked to curtail production and then cut their nuclear stockpiles.

I read an article about this and it seems If India and Pakistan have another war, the Paki's have tactical nukes and may use them, but India only has big ones so if the H-Bombs go off the fallout will stretch from Pakistan to Japan! Nuclear winter will kill off the agriculture in North America and we'll all be in shit city in a year!

Think of all the jobs a nuclear program will create.

Then think of all the job vacancies a nuclear exchange will create.

I don't mean to minimize the threat of nuclear weapons- they are an enormous tragedy waiting to happen, and I was disappointed that Obama has done so little to stop their proliferation- both Iran and N. Korea have moved down that path in the past eight years.

Nevertheless, his sounds like a very fanciful scenario to me. I do not even think India has H-bombs. Don't believe everything you hear on the Internet.

India has had H bombs for years--almost before there was an Internet.

Well now how can that possibly happen, with Rick "Dancing With the Stars Can't Remember the Name of the Agency" in charge of the Department of Energy, which after all oversees the nation's stockpile of nuclear weapons?

If Jabba the Drumpf has an urge to deliver nuclear weapons to the moon, I hope someone will say no to him.

"Yeltsin and his generals had been watching a weather rocket launched from Norway to study the aurora borealis."

Who was at fault in the Norwegian weather-rocket scare?

The Norwegians had, in fact, notified the Russians several weeks in advance of the launch. They hadn’t specified a day, because the launch would depend on weather conditions. Either that notice was sent to the wrong parties in Russia or (which seems more likely) whoever received the notice didn’t grasp the implications or simply forgot to forward it to military authorities.

"They later discovered that the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System at Thule Airbase, in Greenland, had interpreted the moon rising over Norway as a missile attack from Siberia."

"Zbigniew Brzezinski, the national-security adviser, was called at home at two-thirty in the morning and informed that two hundred and twenty missiles were on their way toward the United States. That false alarm was the fault of a defective computer chip that cost forty-six cents."
