Front seat bro!

I expect moderate Democrats to find common cause with GOP elites and form a new party. I expect the Democrat assheads to make the DeocratiocParty a joke. The Trump people will become a labor party.

Today is the day!

The day that the "adults in the room" overturn the results of the "deplorable" election!

*fingers crossed*

So far I'm the only poster who's consistently right.

Hillary wants to do it again. Bernie's people will revolt. GOP elites got nobody. We know Jeb and Dubya like her charms. Labor, Hillary/GOP, and assclowns in 2020.

It's a cycle. In the U.S. each party goes through this every few years, and the party elite sit around wringing their hands and wondering what went wrong.

Yes, but the buildup was that Nov. 8 was the death knell for the Republican party. The fact the tables have turned 180 degrees is stunning.

Not really stunning, but watching the asshats on either side freak shit like we either just elected the savior of the human race or Hitler reincarnated, has been fucking awesome reality entertainment.

I said she was going to run again and everyone acted like I was crazy...

;)

How else can she keep the big bucks rolling her way?

They are both the party of the elites. The only difference with this pendulum swing is that the Democrats are still refusing to examine why they lost the election. They're still looking for a fall guy; Russia, Huma, fake news...,

It actually is and that's why I describe it as a tub-thumping even as noted "independents" try to point that he eked out a win by the skin of his teeth. You see, he didn't win California, so he's not 'popular...'

And I'm stuck in the middle with you...

Pretty much. Like you, I'll wait and see how much he actually follows through on. There are steps that he can take without any congressional action required, let's see if he does.

Did you see the EPA (Yes, that EPA; the one that decided that they could regulate carbon dioxide) saying that Trump cannot simply tell them what to do?

Well, he can't. He might be able to once he's inargurated, but that's a month from now. As long as what he tells them to do is, you know, legal.

The same arrogance of the FBI.

A way needs to be found or legislated to make heads roll...

I study political science as a hobby, and I have a good idea of how candidates win and lose. Like him or hate him, Hitler was a political marvel. He knew how to rise from nuthin to Satan. The process is no easier than making a nuclear bomb, but the process works. Last year I noticed Trump working the Hitler process, and here we are. If Hillary had done the same she'd be President.

On tv at this moment is a smart gal talking about what Democrats need to do for 2020. She's clueless tho an expert.

There is a grain of truth in that. The president cannot arbitrarily order civil servants to eliminate, or grossly change, regulations in place. What he can do via his appointee's is to transfer those civil servants to 'projects' that are essentially dead end career paths and replace them with employee's more amenable to his agenda.

Because government employee's, like most civil servants, have their positions for life the tried and true method of winnowing the chaff is to transfer the dead weight into selective programs then defund the program. "So sorry, out of money. We're going to have to let you go." It takes time to effect that sort of RIF program, but it always works.

They are referring to after he is inaugurated; they're saying he can't undo the nonsense that Obama did. Which of course he can. I's an executive function. Every single thing that they did under Obama's direction can be undone. Every jot and tittle. As far as legal- for something to be legal it has to be black letter law. There's not one word in black-letter law saying that carbon dioxide is a pollutant and that they are authorized to regulate it. They made that up. administrative law is infinitely reversible you throw out your administrative law judges you put in a panel that aren't complete idiots and it's reversed.

Harry Reid ensure that the Republicans can install whoever they want at the EPA wiith nothing more than a simple majority all they need is 51 senators. The Republicans don't have the stones to do it that way but they can.
