Odds on Trump being impeached or resigning before full term is currently 6/4 against with Ladbrooks while Betfred give 2/1 against him not lasting one year .
Wondering what they will be after first hundred days .
I doubt he will be. That pretty much would require Republican cooperation and the Republicans have clearly shown they will swallow anything to get Supreme Court placements. You can't show more vile behavior than Trump has and, with just a few ass-covering objections without any action, the Republicans have stuck with him.
There is almost no chance of his being impeached, because that would mean he would need to commit high crimes and misdemeanors, which he has not done yet. Considering his age, he could die or resign because of failing health.
Treason is a good bet for Trump already.
No, all that's needed to impeach are the required number of votes in Congress. Impeachment is an indictment, not a conviction. And even a conviction only requires the required number of votes based on whatever Congress wants it to be. Treason is a good bet for Trump already--a combination of treason and stupidity maybe.
Okay, mince words. You are right though. Impeachment requires a majority of members of the House and, given the big majority held by the GOP, this is not going to happen. It's also unlikely to happen in two years, but not impossible.
To convict, 2/3 of he Senate has to vote in favor. This would not happen now, and it's very unlikely to happen in two years. Not impossible, but unlikely. Most senators and most voters would see this as strictly a political ploy and vote against it and against somebody who votes for it.
There is a possibility of somebody assassinating Trump or of his dying or resigning while in office, but that's not what this thread is about,
I have no affection for Trump, and consider him to be an asshole. However, I believe he was a better choice than his hopelessly incompetent opponent. I voted for Gary Johnson, largely so I could vote against the major party candidates.
You voted for Johnson because Trump wasn't Republican enough. Because Trump isn't Republican enough, his odds of being impeached are higher than you seem to think.
That's certainly nice to know. Here I was thinking it was because he best reflected my values and could actually do a decent job of being president, as opposed to the walking disasters who were running against him.
I wonder if he has a 90 day warranty, like most products? Or, are we stuck with the lemon like a Yugo?
You lost the election becauz Hillary inspired no one, and she sat home drunk rather than be around white trash working class voters.
I voted for the sane one.
I can see that. I can see you not knowing what an Aleppo is either.![]()

If he does not put all his business holdings in a blind trust -- a real one, not run by anyone he knows -- then he will be guilty of impeachable offenses from the moment he is inaugurated.
