So don't bother with XMas. Go straight to the Swinging Saturnalia, the Slurp-Me Solstice, and then sex-toy shopping on Boxing Day. They're much more rewarding. Bring the family.
 
Everyone likes to be pressured into blowing their wad every winter, or your SO/Kids/family will know you don't actually care about them at all.

Mine will be good.

I got the Queen a .38 revolver with laser-sight for her to conceal carry in January.

I got Princess a blue-ray player and the F&F franchise of blue-ray.

They are going to get me a crap present...

;) ;)

But I'm used to it and have learned to act like I love it right before I store it away permanently.

This morning (last night for people on a day schedule) the Queen angrily demanded as I got my morning cup of coffee, "What the fuck is all thsi shit and what kind of Christmas gift is this?"

Well, I looked the stuff over and I informed her, it is a lighting system used by photographers and I did not buy it. (Princess' college courses are in media...)

We played this game until this year; the Queen and Princess demand I make a list. Then she loses this list and tries to recreate what was on it...

... then it's like the phone call game from when you were a kid.
