1. Vasectomy

After I knew there'd be no kids for me, this gave me better peace-of-mind than any other decision I've ever made. It's great that children give some fulfilled lives; power to them. As for me, I do what I want, pretty much whenever I want, and have enough money and time to make it happen. I sleep in on weekends, unless it's for fun. Sex is, of course, an entirely different and vastly-improved experience, including the types of partners I have. Best $50 I've ever spent, or will spend. (Insurance covered the rest.)

2. Standing desk

Health fads are health fads; as everyone knows, there's a bazillion of them. The only time I'll ever invest in one - and this is the only I've truly been sold on - is when it's a no-brainer. Not sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, ever again, is a no-brainer. I put the desk in, and haven't missed my chair a bit. More energy, better productivity, better drive once I get home, better body - the list goes on and on. If I can find an under-the-desk treadmill that fits properly, it's happening soon.

3. Food service

I hate cooking. I hate the time it takes, the effort, the clean-up, and it's not my talent. I do like food, however, and I especially like it when a delicious meal is brought to my front door without having to bother anyone I know, or do anything other than heat it up. There's a ton of varieties to choose from as well. And healthy ones. Time saved + good for health + yum = winner.

4. Electric toothbrush

There's a stigma among some that people who use these are lazy. Laugh at, then ignore these folks. I use mine to keep from having to visit a dentist more than once every two years. A professional-feeling cleaning every night works for me. The naysayers can enjoy their dental bills.

5. Fluff & fold

Laundry used to take me about 2 hours a week to finish. That's 2 hours I could be doing something other than hauling clothes, remembering to buy detergent, hoping I remember to target all the stains, cleaning lint filters, finding dryer sheets - you get the picture. None of that is part of my life anymore; my 2 hours are back. Turning clothes in at the cleaners takes 5 minutes + 10 minutes to go get them. Everything is folded, and cleaned better than I could ever muster. Anything that saves this much time is worth looking into.

Post your own. :)

House - because I don't like being cold and wet and I needed a place for my tv.

Car - because I gotta get to work

Clothes - because the law says so.

Food - because it's food.

A grill - see above.

Hmm, let's see:

1. College tuition
2. Wedding license
3. Beach house
4. Health insurance
5. A few thousand bottles of wine

2.Whereas the other ones make sense to me, I don't get this one.

5. I only waste half an hour on laundry. I just throw them in the washing machine (one regular cycle, another one for delicates) and do my own thing while the machine is working for me. Plus a lot of clothes don't need folding or ironing anyway. I just put them on clothes hangers or chuck them in drawers instead. Women's clothing are so much more practical and enduring plus nicer looking too, if one avoids cotton and goes for other types of fabric instead.

6.Stylus based large screen tablets.

They're absolutely fantastic.
From phone calls, skype or internet browsing no matter where one is, to reading books on amazon kindle, watching a movie or a more professional podcast in a floating window while browsing the net.
- Plus nice to write things down with a stylus on the tablet and then save them in the cloud. Which helps you declutter your workspace or avoids misplacing things.

Technically, only 2 of your 5 are goods. Two are services and one was 2 nuts. Now, I don't disagree with your choices.
I'm looking into your 2 and your 4 makes mine as well. It's fucking amazing.

2 is a game changer, IMHO. Also, my office mates lost their shit in a good way, which was a fun bonus.

Speaking of practical clothes (for sports and more casual stuff):
The clothes made out of NZ merino knitwear are among the best clothes that I ever owned.

They can be used regardless of weather (they're breathable during hot days, insulating during colder ones), plus limitted perspiration. Also, NZ and australian designers are among the best, and they come up with pretty stylish and flattering clothes even for regular wear.
They're a bit more expensive, but they're worth it because they last much longer than any other clothes.

1) Property to whore out, spending money that makes you money for doing nothing but having your name on some paperwork has been the best money I've ever spent. That money has tempered failures and kept me afloat and mafe the good times even better.

2) EVO IX, because fun is fun.

3) The internet....I have learned to so more shit from the web than any other single source I can think of. From welding or engine rebuilds to baking dinner rolls. If you want to do something there are good instructions to be found on the web AND you get all the entertainment shit you want on top of it so no need for cable TV anymore either. I miss that commercial laden shit exactly zero.

Best paid subscription service of all time.

4) My first greenhouse, started me on a whole new lifestyle I don't think I'll ever give up at this point, I'll just do more and more and more.

Farmer till the wheels fall off

5) French press, fuck drip coffee life is too short for that shit.

I'm also looking at the fluff 'n' fold. I leave the house quite often and just throwing them in the laundry without folding or hanging them just isn't an option.

2. Cheap flip up phone very cost effective 100$ a year unlimited text, incoming calls free, free on evenings and weekends

3. Asus notepad lots of free WiFi points out there these days. Cost 375 bucks. Portable and every bit as functional as a PC.

4. Fishing club membership for socializing, healthy activities and a cheap source of fresh rainbow trout.

Is that where you fight all the other racists?

Thanks for the jibe, Smartpants, but unlike you, I can afford to do that because I invest in quality clothes that don't wrinkle easily and last for longer. It's also cheaper in the longer run.

Just like with shoes: I go for leather inner instead of man made inner like you guys do.
Therefore, I don't have to do all the extra work that you do, like leaving them outside for a breather eavery night, nor do I have to buy another pair every month because my feet stink.

Hmm... tough...

I'm going with:

1. All 33 pairs of ballet flats I own. I could not choose just one pair.

2. My first car. It was a second hand little hatchback but I sold it for more than I paid for it three years after buying it, and that funded an around the world backpacking trip. Some of the greatest experiences and adventures of my life were had thanks to that car. Also, I had my first uncomfortable car sex in that thing. Aaah memories.

3. The weekly services of an ironing lady. Fuck I hate ironing, especially business shirts. No way.

4. My Thermomix. Hot. Wet. Rice.

5. Tissot watch bought while on holiday in Switzerland in 1998. Worn day in/day out ever since and looks as good as the day I got it, and has had two battery changes in that time. It was pricey for the day and the circumstance, but it has been timeless in look and quality.
1.33 pairs! Beats even LordPman, ;)

2.I try to stay away from those elegant businness skirts or trousers and crisp 100% cotton shirts.
I like the layered look.I find it to be more flattering and slimming and also easier to maintain as in much easier to iron, and less likely to get all wrinkled up throughout the day.

Wearing frumpy wrinkled layers makes you look slimming? Yeah, I'm sure it hides the penis as well.

How would you know? Bragging about how well put together and hot you look IRL (like you do)
doesn't necessarily make it so.

Talk about penis. The clothes that you were wearing in the picture posted in the Breasts& Chest thread didn't hide Your bulge too well.
I was impressed. :rose:
