I'm 4 episodes in and just fascinated. I find myself comparing the concept to dystopian literature and, potentially, religion (how do we get to "Heaven"?).

I want to watch the last 4 now, but am forcing myself off the couch to be productive for a bit. I may need to binge on the last 4 tonight. Netflix is killing it with their original productions.

Who has time & focus to read a tv show?

I haven't seen it but was considering it.

Netflix does indeed have a lot of good stuff, though Haters Back Off! was cringeworthy on the first episode.

Netflix better start adding watchable content or they are going to start losing viewers.

You can change the language from Portuguese to English in your settings. It's dubbed well. 2 more episodes for me to watch... It's eery and unsettling.

Have you watched the documentaries: The Amanda Knox Story and Audrie and Daisy? The first is just really interesting to watch having seen that unfold somewhat in real time but not knowing the whole story (or at least one version of the whole story). The second one broke me...I can see the girls in that story in the faces of the many teens in my life. Everyone should watch that one.

What about Black Mirror? I think that's a Netflix original. I've watched a handful of those and every one made me think about technology and society.

Holy shit! Great information. I wonder if that's available on more shows.

Not big on documentaries but I might check them out.

Black Mirror was awesome and just about every episode made me think, man, that's fucked up. :D

I watched both. Knox was informative and turned out well. Audrie and Daisy was disturbing. Glad I watched it though. Sides of life I never thought about.

The documentaries are modern, The Amanda Knox one a true crime sort of story. Audrie and Daisy looks at sexual assault. If you have daughters, you don't really want to watch it, but you should. Probably with them. It's gut-wrenching.

I just saw 3% tonight and added it to my list. Someone in the Westworld thread said it was better than Westworld, which I like (they did not).

I watched the Amanda Knox Story - I honestly found her commentary on it probably just as disturbing as the entire story itself. I'm waiting on Audrie and Daisy until I'm less angry about us electing a misogynistic pig. Can only handle so much rage at once.

Loved Black Mirror. I haven't seen the newer episodes (season 3) yet though.

Her commentary was definitely weird, yeah.

I have not been watching Black Mirror in order, but a couple have just stuck with me for days. Have you watched "White Bear"? I could see our country largely getting behind a justice theme park like that. What about "15 Million Merits"? That might as well be much of the US today.

If you are a history buff the Netflix documentaries on the why and how World War 1 and 2 happened are very informative.
