Another sign of the times.

stupid fuck.

the only people in the tunnels have guns pointed at you or baggies of herion strung through their gut, praying to the virgin they aren't killed.

Why would herion (sic) smugglers bother digging tunnels when they can walk across the border without being challenged?

You watch too much TV.

Seems to me that print and network tv had a balance of left and right. Time and Newsweek.

Cable and Internet content basically blew that up in the USA.

The USA still has a full basket of views to study, but mainstream media is skewed heavily left. New York and LA are the nexus of liberalism, and thats where big media is. Its embedded, baked in.

The democrats were very comfortable.

Now they are very uncomfortable.

Sad song, we've heard it before.

And continue spewing the lies his followers love to believe.

  1. If you like your plan you can keep your plan.
  2. You can keep your doctor.
  3. Shovel ready jobs.
  4. The Iran deal is good for the U.S.
  5. ISIS is the JV Team
  6. ISIS is on the run.
  7. I knew nothing about it until I heard it on the news'

That's just for starters. Give us a break.

I've been saying forever that bbc world news is pretty close to flavorless...so is PBS.

First of all I was referring to the print media. As far as PBS is concerned, they might as well be Pravda West.

I was listening to Cross Country Checkup, the Canadian national call-in show on our State Radio Station...and a woman put something interesting out there.

She was asking why Water isn't being talked about more in the mainstream media.

I think many of us on the GB know Water is and will become an increasingly strategic commodity, but I don't get the sense that the mainstream is up to speed.

So far, Trunp has been in charge of the News Cycle...what we aren't talking about.

Re. elections what in the hell are they going to say to turn it into a divisive subject?

I'll mention it again, the US media lives in an echo chamber. The only people they talk to are each other until they want to go out and 'cherry pick' an anecdotal man on the street sound bite to support their premise. Their input primarily comes from those they perceive to be in power and that input is rattled around in their chamber and comes out amplified and distorted. For crying out loud, every time Jesse Jackson announces he's going to fart the press is there with microphones up his ass to record the event for posterity when the reality is that Jesse is about as relevant as Wendell Willkie.

Go look at the Ellison thread. There's a Bozo in there saying that Trump said what he clearly didn't say. But what he, the Bozo, is repeating is the truncated statement that was reported in the opinion that poses as news these days.

The evolution of the press into it's current state began long ago. It started when TV started to cover the presidential conventions wall to wall. As soon as anyone on the podium made a speech the commentators were there to tell us what the speaker "really" said. While I suspect it started as a way of filling airtime and appearing relevant, the underscore was, "You're stupid so I'll explain it to you." And over the years it seems that they've come to truly believe that everyone is stupid but them. And they've gathered a large segment of the population that has, apparently, come to believe that they're right and so they follow slavishly along questioning nothing the press says or does. Eventually there was going to be a push back, it was never a matter of 'if', only a matter of 'when.'

Originally I thought we would only have a few months of the dems. crying like little bitches.

It's starting to look like this will be four years of pure butthurt entertainment.

:D

How they demanded of everyone not voting for Hillary: Will you accept the results of the election?

That was back when all of the news and polling sources they "trust" were assuring them that this was a "slam dunk."

Maybe we should have spent more time asking them if they were going to accept the results of the election.

stupid fuck.

Then you should have used a real criminal and not a Hispanic comedian you stupid fuckess...

But that would have been a rhetorical question.

So far, Trump has been in charge of the News Cycle...what we aren't talking about.

*chuckle*

Obama who???

He's going to have to do something drastic to get the camera back on him.

Now Chuckie "Don't Stand Between Me and a Microphone" Schumer knows how to interject himself into the news cycle.

No matter who he nominates, we are going to destroy them, no matter how spurious and unsubstantiated our SERIOUS charges are!!!

Apparently you aren't aware of the current events that exposed the corrupt media's collusion with the Clinton campaign.

Talking about emails to the exclusion of everything else = "collusion with the Clinton campaign."

When the emails were talked about, they were not talked about as a serious charge, but as something in the past, that had been dealt with and had no merit to them. Please do not lie by omission. The Clinton Press gave them very short thrift. It was the internet that killed her credibility...

No, it was Clinton who killed her credibility. Not the media, the internet, Comey, Trump, or the conservatives who hate everyone who isn't a white male.

I agree 100%. She's been doing it for years with her "I can't recall routine."

Do you really pay this little attention? Words actually written by the Clinttonistas to the media and back to the Clinton Camp showed actual collusion between major media outlets and the Clinton campaign.

I guess you could try to argue that such collusion was justified or that such collusion in the end made no difference but you don't get to argue that it didn't happen.

We can certainly argue that it is inadmissible evidence in the court of public opinion because it was "hacked."

If it could have been hacked, then it could have been "edited."

You know, the Russians, Trump...

And don't overlook the fact that it might have been 'leaked' by an insider. As odd as it may seem, and as rare as they might be, there are still some democrats out there that aren't ethically challenged.

I concur...

There may be those who do not wish the party to commit suicide.

What kind of deal do you suppose Hillary & Donald made in their election night phone call?

I doubt that there was any particular agreement made. One the other hand I suspect the unspoken agreement was, "keep your mouth shut and fade into the woodwork and I won't send the DoJ your way."

Trumps political agenda is aggressive enough without having to deal with that particular shit storm.
