My idea for this is to play Wolverine as a bounty hunter in the American Old West who's ultimate goal is to track down Victor Creed. This could either be a one-on-one in which a female plays the young love interest of Logan, or it could be a group thread in which Wolverine leads a 19th-century X-Men team. You can create original mutants, or re-purpose existing characters for a western setting.
Clearly, the advanced science of the modern Marvel world will be absent, and so mutations are still not well-understood. The location of the story at first would be New York City, but then would quickly shift to places like Deadwood, Tombstone, and Dodge City. We would portray a sort of alternate world from here where history plays out slightly differently than what actually happened in the Old West. The Vanderbilt family will be portrayed as rather villainous, with William Vanderbilt as a psychic mutant who coerced his father Cornelius into leaving 95% of the family estate to him. Eventually we come into conflict with a team of mutants hired by Vanderbilt and led by Victor Creed.
If anyone is interested, I am open to other ideas.
