Poisonous Potemkin Parasite President

What is Potemkin, precious ?

Potemkin Villages

Grigory Potyomkin was a dashing 18th century Russian nobleman who intrigued in courts, smote his enemies upon the steppes and allegedly wooed Catherine the Great. It was while he was courting his nation's comely Tsarina — at least according to legend — that his name came to forever stand for something insubstantial.

For Catherine's 1783 tour of new Russian possessions in the Crimea, Potyomkin endeavored to show her the best face of the empire. As the story goes, pasteboard facades of pretty towns were set up at a distance on riverbanks. At stops, she'd be greeted by regiments of Amazonian snipers or fields set ablaze by burning braziers and exploding rockets spelling her initials; whole populations of serfs were moved around and dressed up in fanciful garb to flaunt a prosperity that didn't exist (later precipitating famine in the region).

Recent historical work has proved the tale in part apocryphal, but the legend stuck. A "Potemkin village" signifies any deceptive or false construct, conjured often by cruel regimes, to deceive both those within the land and those peering in from outside.

Ah!

This story has circulated through news sites...

Trump crashed a ribbon-cutting ceremony in 1996 for a new nursery school, funded by the charity, The Association to Benefit Children (with AIDS).

Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani (R) and former mayor David Dinkins (D) and TV stars Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford, were major donors. They sat up front. There was a seat saved for Steven Fisher, so that he could sit with them. Steve Fisher is developer who had given generously to build the nursery.

Trump and his entourage barged in. Trump sat in Steve Fisher's chair.

Trump did not give money to the charity. Trump did not help in any way.

http://crooksandliars.com/2016/10/trump-lied-about-donating-aids-charity

Trump got his photo op. He created the false impression that he was a generous donor, because he was photographed with the real donors at the ceremony.

He had stolen Steve Fisher's chair. He grabbed Steve Fisher's place of honor.

Steve Fisher was left to sit in the audience.

He should have been singing and dancing on the stage with the other donors.

Trump used children with AIDS.

"Trump left without offering an explanation. Or a donation."

Trump had used children, before.

In 1997, for instance, he was “principal for a day” at a public school in an impoverished area of the Bronx. The chess team was holding a bake sale, Hot & Crusty danishes and croissants. They were $5,000 short of what they needed to travel to a tournament.

Trump had brought something to wow them.

“He handed them a fake million-dollar bill,” said David MacEnulty, a teacher and the chess team’s coach.

The team’s parent volunteers were thrilled.

Then disappointment.

Trump then gave them $200 in real money and drove away in a limousine.

Why just $200?

“I have no idea,” MacEnulty said. “He was about the most clueless person I’ve ever seen in that regard.”

The happy ending, he said, was that a woman read about Trump’s gift in the New York Times, called the school and donated the $5,000. “I am ashamed to be the same species as this man,” MacEnulty recalled her saying.

At a nursery school a year earlier, Trump had crashed the ribbon-cutting for the event aimed at helping children with AIDS.

At midnight you could have him turn into a poisonous toad. Hillary could turn into a poisonous spider and hopefully a fight until they both lose would ensue.

All their ranting about off the wall conspiracy theories has been acknowledged by the potential Poisonous Potemkin Parasite President.

Trump campaign, which has links to the so-called “alt-right” extreme conservative movement, has been accused of pandering to antisemitism in the past, despite the candidate’s daughter Ivanka being Jewish, having converted when she married the investor and New York Observer owner Jared Kushner.

Way back, when, Trump was a parasite of the Democrats.
Trump was happy to embrace all Democrats.

Now, a Trump campaign ad attacks Soros, Yellen, Blankfein

The two-minute long ad features audio from Trump’s West Palm Beach speech in mid-October, which was criticized by the Anti-Defamation League for “rhetoric and tropes that historically have been used against Jews and still spur antisemitism.

Philanthropist investor George Soros, Federal Reserve head Janet Yellen and Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein, all of whom are Jewish, appear onscreen as Trump inveighs against “levers of power in Washington” and “global special interests” — both considered anti-Semitic dog-whistles.

U.S. Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) called the ad "an appeal to some of the worst elements in our country" on CNN's "State of the Union."

"I thought that this was something of a German shepherd whistle, a dog whistle to a certain group in the United States," Franken said. "It clearly had sort of Elders of Zion kind of feel to it, international banking crisis — plot or conspiracy, rather — and then a number of Jews."

Trump also released a closing campaign ad, a two-minute spot tying Clinton to the "failed and corrupt political establishment" and "global special interests." But the ad, which features images of piles of cash along with Jewish corporate and financial leaders, including Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein and Federal Reserve Chair Janet L. Yellen, was sharply criticized by the Anti-Defamation League for what it called anti-Semitic overtones.

"This is a whole different ballgame," Trump said in Minneapolis, predicting victory in a state that hasn't voted Republican since 1972. At a rally in Virginia that Trump called his "midnight special speech," the Republican called the race a "marathon."

"We are going to have one of the great victories of all time," he said, comparing the U.S. election to the "Brexit" vote by the United Kingdom to leave the European Union "times 50."

Trump continued to focus on the email issue, despite the FBI's finding.

"Hillary Clinton is guilty. She knows it, the FBI knows it, the people know."

It's not the first time his campaign has been accused of anti-Jewish rhetoric designed to appeal to the far right in American politics, most notably his notorious July 2 tweet depicting Clinton, against a pile of cash and a six-pointed star, as the “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!”

Trump's campaign also issued a statement, claiming Trump said "whatever" instead of "wherever."

After seeing reports last week that his campaign was pulling out of Virginia, Donald Trump picked up the phone and called his Virginia state director Mike Rubino to deliver a very clear message: he will not withdraw, and will give Rubino whatever resources needed to win the Old Dominion.

Donald Trump’s rally in Portland, Maine, protesters silently held up small copies of the United States Constitution in imitation of Khizr Khan’s actions at the DNC. That was enough to set the crowd boiling and stop Trump in the middle of his “build a wall” routine.

Trump gave a wave out to his audience.

Trump: "Do whatever you want. Go ahead. Do whatever you want."

As the crowd booed, security led away those holding copies of the Constitution.

Starting next year, Republicans will control every branch of federal government.

Republicans don't have the 60 members they need in the Senate for their majority to be filibuster-proof. House Speaker Paul Ryan explained that he plans to use a process known as budget reconciliation, which Republicans recently criticized Democrats for employing to pass healthcare reform.

The process is for the House and Senate to pass identical budgets, and include instructions for Congress to pass reconciliation legislation that cannot be filibustered in the Senate. Such a bill is supposed to change current law to comply with the budget's demands, but can be used to accomplish wide-ranging objectives.

President Obama vetoed a similar effort last year.

President Trump likely would not.

Republican Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker just reiterated his belief that Republicans should change the Senate rules to get rid of the filibuster, which would allow them to pass legislation with a 51-senator majority.

Robert Frank reports on the potential conflicts of interest facing the next president.

Donald Trump and his family would be allowed to move the headquarters of the Trump organization, his private company, to the White House.

"...any blind trust would be impractical, since by nature he knows what assets and interests are actually in the company. People close to the Trump family tell me that he plans to hand control of the Trump Organization to his children with Ivanka running the hotel group, Eric running the winery and golf properties, and Donald Jr. running the real estate developments."

The big question is whether they will expand the company without inviting the appearance or benefitting from access to the president. Mr. Trump’s businesses are valued at up to $3 billion with 17 golf properties, over a dozen hotels, and more than 20 Trump branded residential buildings.

The worst was chosen over the best.
Trump needed White Supremists and White Nationalists.
They were his thin slice, to tip the balance.

Simplicity.
Put a ring in the nose of the elephant,

He was right.
All of them followed
Because that was their path.

Did they want fear in the hearts of other,
Because they are afraid ?
Do they want to cause pain,
because the truth is painful ?

No way Hilly is the best. This election was a choice between two of the worst candidates ever to be nominated by major parties. They might be the two worst ever.

I hope you realize Hilly and Billy Clinton are among the notorious 1%.

In income I'm sure they are, with pensions from being POTUS and gov of AR and a senator and Sec. of State, besides money pouring in from speaking engagements, which will now largely end. In terms of net assets, I don't know.

I googled net value of the top 1%. The cutoff in USA is around US$8.5 million. The cutoff globally is around US$770 thousand. I almost qualify globally and the Clintons certainly qualify nationally. Remember that with USA population around 320 million, there are 3.2 million 1%ers -- not quite enough to fill Los Angeles.
