I'm mulling the idea of quitting my job, traveling the world and eating only crème brûlée. I suppose, eventually, all my teeth will fall out and I'll develop diabetes, but what the hell. When my spoon cracks the top of that caramelized sugar, I pee myself, just a little bit.

So, I'll need to stay hydrated.

A couple years ago, I had an amazing chocolate crème brûlée in a little restaurant north of Miami. My cousin is a chef & he made an awesome pumpkin crème brûlée which surprised me since I don't like pumpkin.

Right now I'm still in purest mode though after a few years I may need to branch out.

Crème brûlée has been tweaked and bastardized by every aspiring TV chef on the planet and all that remains is candy; the purity has been lost, the soul departed, replaced by, "Would you spend money on THIS?"

I made some out of French vanilla ice cream. Now where did I leave the torch? :)
