Colin Kaepernick is not black and comes from a well to do family who took him in and saw that he got an education. It is true that last year his team tried to trade him, but no one wanted him. So he came up with this "black care" idea. Of course it was just to get his weak spine bosses to ensure they keep him on the team. He cares nothing about African Americans. He proved it when he failed to show up at the large black church in San Francisco and when he failed to give one million dollars to a black civil rights organization. He is in it for the money and he isn't going to waste it on people he has no respect for.

What is really funny other then showing that the NFL is filled with weak spineless bosses and some stupid players, is the fact that so many silly putty brained people are trying to make excuses for his behavior.

At any rate most of my friends that use to have a party each weekend to watch an NFL football game now find other more constructive and more fun ways to spend our time (and yes our money as we don't care to by anything that advertises on such fools). Baseball, soccer, etc. are so much more enjoyable and have real men in them.

Now if what's his name gets put in his place by his team mates and bosses and the team fans then we might watch next year.

Baseball have more real men then football? Bruh you can't be serious. Baseball have a lot of drug addicts. That's what the fuck it have.

I think it's awesome that you and your friends didn't stop watching when players were allowed to play after committing horrific acts of domestic violence, but you did stop watching once someone did something perfectly legal.

Your thread title refers to "what's his name," and then the first words of your first post are literally his name.

Is there a point to that?

benny friedman.

also, who the fuck cares about this anymore?

and, for the record, there was plenty of interest in colin from other teams, but they all wanted him to take a pay cut which he refused.

oh and tobin rote.

There's a hell of a lot worse going on in the NFL than the protest thing. I agree with the OP that Its totally disingenuous on Kaepernicks part, but some of the others seem sincere.

But back to my original point, the NFL has become despicable on so many levels more people are no longer watching. Last I heard it was down 11% and I think the protests are a small-very small-part of it, but other things are bigger.

The using cancer as a way to make money, making the veterans pay to be on the field, the domestic abuse that they know goes on and only act when it becomes public and they're forced to do something

Josh Brown beat his wife at the friggin pro bowl, Giants knew it, NFL knew it. A one game suspension and there were 19 previous documented incidents. The Mara's were shielding this animal...until the public found out, now he's cut.

And just as big is the concussion issue. The NFL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PLAYER SAFETY. If they did two teams wouldn't be playing on Thursday night every week still hurting from Sunday.

So a few players kneeling at the start of a game isn't the be all end all here.

Bronco's were the front runner for awhile.

Fact is what all the 'controversy' is doing is masking the fact the guy just doesn't seem to have it anymore. Teams were smart to not take him on for big money.

Maybe that. And also maybe the team isn't what it used to be.

Did they beat their wimminz live, on the field on national TV?

Did it become a movement? Did High School Athletes suddenly start slapping cheerleaders on game night?

I think your outrage here is designed to protect your movement more than it is directed at the victims of domestic violence...

PS - and this is what really chaps the hide...

Domestic violence is real.

Cops hunting down and killing innocent black men is a fucking myth...

I'd refer you to the Ray Rice video, and since you'll say something please keep in mind that Colin doesn't legally protest anything live on the field during nationally televised events, and if he did, how would you know, you're not watching.

Looking forward to seeing you fail to prove that negative.
