I've also found relaxing in general helps. When I'm doing my thing and I feel his hand on my head I know the thrust is next. I relax, melt into it, and try not to tense my throat as that seems to make it worse. He feels if I gag, and knows that means to pull back and give me a breath. :)

The position of your head and the arch of your neck also helps. Sometimes going in from above him isn't the best way, or even kneeling. If you're slightly above the pelvic area and tilting your head down, following the natural curve of the shaft, it helps.

But then again, most men I've been with are aroused when they hear a slight gag ;)

As cookie said, practice, however,,there is more to it. He should be coaching you, talking to you, encouraging you, as ultimately it is for his benefit. For you, it may initially be a challenge, but the satisfaction knowing you can deepthroat should be a thrill for you.

As kentuckylady said, you may like to start with your head tilted back slightly, this straighten out, or makes, your throat inline with your mouth. Lie on your back on a bed with your neck supported by the bed edge. When you have this sorted you can then start using other positions, like kneeling and going down from above.

Good tips, all. It also helped if you played the flute for 10 years. Well, it helped me.

I'm all about the gagging. It's more of a challenge. It makes me focus on what I'm doing. Yes, the gagging sounds are good, however, she does need to know how do deepthroat correctly. If it is not enjoyable for her, but something to fear, where is the pleasure and enjoyment in that?
