Playing with fire

So I've sort of been toying with the idea of playing with fire, talking to a guy about real things, real information and him making notes and remembering everything, seeing how much he can get me to reveal about myself seeing how close to the flame he can tempt me.

This isn't open season on asking me my name and address, I want someone far more devious and less obvious than that someone who will take his time, someone who can make me forget all about this and twist his way deeper into my mind.

It could be very dangerous and very very exciting, don't you think?

Very dangerous I agree. Chances are you'll find a nice guy who wouldn't actually do anything with the information he found out, but there's definitely a risk and risks make things a lot more fun...

I don't get it.

It's not like people would never exchange real life information about themselves. If he has to build a relationship over time that makes you reveal these things, what's the difference to any other relationship?

If you would be forced to reveal these things to a stranger, f.e. make up a secret rule like:"I will tell my real life information the first guy with the letter P who replies to this thread", then this might be riskier than the average online dating risk. Maybe.

Of course, in the end, if there is no blackmailing regarding sexual favors involved, where would be the fun for him?
