When I explain my reason, people just don't get it. I explain each and every time and for some strange reason, they can't seem to comprehend. I'm not asking for anyone to ever agree with me, I'm simply asking if their brain can comprehend what I have said.

My reason:
First, politics bores me to near coma. When political stuff is on, I change the channel. Now, if they had dancing dogs thrown in occasionally, I may take an interest. Or have the candidates play with fuzzy kittens.

Second, no human being should run a country. Ever. I don't have any clue as to what should run a country but I know it shouldn't be a human being. We fuck up too much. And when we do, people are thrilled to report it.

Third, there's never a happy medium. A person that may not get everything perfect for the Americans but at least tries to work things in such a way that at least all of us can except.

Fourth, lies. I never know for an absolute fact if anyone is ever telling the truth. I blame my education....science class really focused on facts and stuff. I always want the hardcore, raw truth and facts.
