Corrupt?
I heard an interesting take from a guest on the Beck show.
With the myriad of "news" sources all dependent upon advertising, each outlet targets a niche audience and then tells them the news they want to read/hear in order to sell advertising. With a polarized country, and increasingly polarized by the Balkanization, so to speak, of information outlets, is this a trend that will prevent any further bipartisanship going into the future?
For example, I was talking to a Trumper at work who was impressed by polling that showed Trump won overwhelmingly. My counter was that many Liberals hate and distrust FOX so much, that they might not be able to bring themselves to tune in (plus they are extremely confident that they have already won, we see that here every day) and thus the pool of polled people who watched the debate, would be a pool of fellow Trumpers.
[I haven't watched any of the debates, I can't stand either one of them.]
