hahaa! way to turn a situation around!

have you had to deal with much negative attention like that?
Not recently, but yea, smart-assed comments occasionally at senior school and not just from other kids... I got along with people and that helped. There was virtually no bullying at school - it was well run.

attitudes have definitely shifted in the last few years. I went into sainsburys on Monday to do some food shopping. I was wearing boy clothes but had a bit of make up on and was wearing my favourite hat (I get dysphoric about my hair) and I hardly noticed anyone looking twice or staring. admittedly I was fairly dashing about because who actually likes supermarkets? but as far as I was aware there wasn't any negativity. maybe I just looked like a boy wearing some makeup to everyone else, but to me it was a huge confidence boost. I was able to be myself and for the most part was left to it :)

I've decided that stents are to soft-touch-multi-function-vibrators as medical gowns are to negligees: they do the same job, just one kind lacks class :)

Oh Oh Oh!!!
did you see the post in News about the John Hopkins lots?!
They're resuming trans surgery!
That's made my week, my month... :):):):D

"We need to elect republicans to keep our daughters safe from pervert men wearing wigs barging into women's restrooms"
If you say that ^^ out loud in any republican meeting I would imagine it would draw applause. I guess it depends on the audience seeing the cartoon: liberals will see the irony but the rest will understand the Trump comparison but still agree that the problem with trans is that they are men in wigs. The red-faced fist-clenching man represents a lot of Americans, whether or not they vote Trump.

...but that's what you get when you dissect humour ;)

Yes, some of us American red-faced fist-clenching men are fairly enlightened. The reason we are red-faced and fist-clenching is because we're tired of the idiotic laws being passed and we're tired of being stererotyped. :D

It wasn't very well written. It was hard to tell who was who. It took a lot of guts to run out of the room naked after being robbed to get the guy's tag number.

pfft - i run naked all over the place...:D
wish I could tho' - love the kiss of air on skin

I used to do that when I was younger. Being naked outdoors is quite enjoyable, and probably something that few of us have ever done in our adult lives.

...another nice thing about being a girl is that we get to be naked twice: once topless and again bottomless?! I'm not sure which is more liberating  Hmm, maybe a question for fetish? :)
