Whoever becomes the next president, there are such low expectations that any modicum of success could cause a groundswell of support.

Or not.

“A NATION'S GREATNESS DEPENDS ON ITS LEADER

To vastly improve your country and truly make it great again, start by choosing a better leader. Do not let the media or the establishment make you pick from the people they choose, but instead choose from those they do not pick. Pick a leader from among the people who is heart-driven, one who identifies with the common man on the street and understands what the country needs on every level. Do not pick a leader who is only money-driven and does not understand or identify with the common man, but only what corporations need on every level.

Pick a peacemaker. One who unites, not divides. A cultured leader who supports the arts and true freedom of speech, not censorship. Pick a leader who will not only bail out banks and airlines, but also families from losing their homes -- or jobs due to their companies moving to other countries. Pick a leader who will fund schools, not limit spending on education and allow libraries to close. Pick a leader who chooses diplomacy over war. An honest broker in foreign relations. A leader with integrity, one who says what they mean, keeps their word and does not lie to their people. Pick a leader who is strong and confident, yet humble. Intelligent, but not sly. A leader who encourages diversity, not racism. One who understands the needs of the farmer, the teacher, the doctor, and the environmentalist -- not only the banker, the oil tycoon, the weapons developer, or the insurance and pharmaceutical lobbyist.

Pick a leader who will keep jobs in your country by offering companies incentives to hire only within their borders, not one who allows corporations to outsource jobs for cheaper labor when there is a national employment crisis. Choose a leader who will invest in building bridges, not walls. Books, not weapons. Morality, not corruption. Intellectualism and wisdom, not ignorance. Stability, not fear and terror. Peace, not chaos. Love, not hate. Convergence, not segregation. Tolerance, not discrimination. Fairness, not hypocrisy. Substance, not superficiality. Character, not immaturity. Transparency, not secrecy. Justice, not lawlessness. Environmental improvement and preservation, not destruction. Truth, not lies.

Most importantly, a great leader must serve the best interests of the people first, not those of multinational corporations. Human life should never be sacrificed for monetary profit. There are no exceptions. In addition, a leader should always be open to criticism, not silencing dissent. Any leader who does not tolerate criticism from the public is afraid of their dirty hands to be revealed under heavy light. And such a leader is dangerous, because they only feel secure in the darkness. Only a leader who is free from corruption welcomes scrutiny; for scrutiny allows a good leader to be an even greater leader.

And lastly, pick a leader who will make their citizens proud. One who will stir the hearts of the people, so that the sons and daughters of a given nation strive to emulate their leader's greatness. Only then will a nation be truly great, when a leader inspires and produces citizens worthy of becoming future leaders, honorable decision makers and peacemakers. And in these times, a great leader must be extremely brave. Their leadership must be steered only by their conscience, not a bribe.”

Yeah...

We definately didn't do any of that.

The US is fucking over. Its a dictatorship with rigged elections, completely biased propaganda media, and a ruling party that openly hates at least 40% of the people it rules over (and has contempt for most of the rest of them).

The US is overrun by third world mobs by the tens of millions and soon will be overun by third world mobs in the hundreds of millions. The tiny ruling class will continue to get richer and richer, and foment more division and politicized hatred among the masses of subjects mired in the day to day misery of hyper dumbversity, meaninglessness, and traffic congestion.

The ruling elite, the internet DNC troll crowd, and maybe a slight majority of the people may be oblivious to the fact, but it doesn't change the reality that around a third of the population now consider this place a fucking third world banana dictatorship with no resemblance to the America of their forebearers and really don't give a flying frig about it after the disgusting open display of dictatorship and personal distruction that occurred in this rigged joke of an "election" (and that is both what they did to Bernie and to Donald).

The US is a crap hole dictatorship that is an embarassment to the world and to itself. Its lost all "moral" authority (if it ever had any) to dominate the world and will be increasingly challenged overseas, not that it really matters anymore. When hundreds of millions of downtrodden poor flood in, the other side of the world is pretty irrelevant.

The sons and daughters of America Part 1 owe no love nor respect for America Part 2, nor should we.

Well this blurt has totally confused me.

This part especially

Say what? It's incoherent.

One of the more interesting thing I find is blaming republicans for Trump but not blaming democrats for Hillary. Two of the most disliked candidates of all time.

There is so much blame to go around but never forget your part in it.

IMHO HRC is disliked due to a decades-long disinfo campaign whilst The Donald is disliked because of what he's actually said and done. Tromp has promised to turn USA into a banana-republic tinhorn dictatorship. Yow.

So Hillary is the best candidate that democrats could come up with. Let's agree with your point that it's a decades long strategy to destroy her.

Why run that candidate over anyone else without all the negative numbers.

No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan

Reports about Trump are called journalism but reports about Hillary are called disinformation?

huh.

Either way, this will be 4 years of some of the best entertainment Washington has ever scripted.

Complete silence. No one can defend her.

You can hate Trump but you can't defend Hillary.

She dosen't even have to succeed...she just has to be and the Hypoxia/SR71's of the country will church her up a Saint until they get a new turd to polish and then they will pretend she wasn't their favorite all of a sudden and the new turd is REALLY the true progressive who's going to make the world a utopian paradise!!

And on and on and on.

Complete silence. No one can defend her.

You can hate Trump but you can't defend Hillary.

They can pretend she's never done anything shady or said anything racist or sexist though.

Or decide that these things aren't bad at all when HRC does them!! Only evil when Republicans or Bernie Sanders does them.

She's no better or worse than most American politicians. Which is not saying much. He is a complete incompetent.

You're going to be killed. You want it quick and clean or messy with lots of screaming?

Almost any other choice of candidate by the GoP would have destroyed her.

Now the GoP will be lucky to have someone in place to challenge the Democrats in another 8 years.

Americans have no one to blame but their collective selves. You folk made the bed. Now you have to sleep in it.

I think some of the bloom is finally off that rose.

GOP pols have spent about US$1 billion taxpayer bucks probing the Clintons over the last 2.5 decades and have come up with NOTHING but Wee Willie lying about a BJ. So yes, dragging up unfounded allegations is disinfo.

Because her organizational skills i.e. her machine beat the other efforts. A candidate is not an individual. A candidate fronts an organization, which later becomes her cabinet and ambassadors and other political sweets. Other Demo possibles just didn't have her muscle. That's reality, which sucks sometimes.

She dosen't even have to succeed...she just has to be and the Hypoxia/SR71's of the country will church her up a Saint..
Listen, fucktard -- you don't mind if I call you that, I hope -- listen fucktard, I've said over and over that I despise HRC, that I've never voted for a Clinton or any of their clique and I'm not about to start now. Clinton's main advantage is that she's not as fucktarded as Tromp. You want a totally bullshit tinhorn dictator, fine. It's your own decaying brain that's rotting between your ears. I'm glad I don't have to smell that.

You're about an inch away from my iggy list. I can take insults. I am NOT happy with misrepresentations and lies. Call me a Hillary-lover again and you're gone, luzer. Go play with yourself now. Again.

Nobody who is eligible is better qualified than Hillary Clinton.

Yet. Oh they are definitely good at what they do.
